Why is it that the English are always involved in these events? Whereas the scots, Irish and hopefully the Welsh fans will go in a party mood and just enjoy themselves without annoying everyone else? Why can't the English just go to Europe, respect the locals and enjoy themselves?
They're like a pack of savages. Big fat sun reading f****rs singing No Surrender and 30 German bombers outside wonderful bars and cafes. And the English media just sweep this growing menace under the carpet.
Sorry but I just don't get the English mentality. Can anyone explain?

Whenever I read 'apparently' and 'no official reports' it usually means it's a load of cobblers. The vast majority of English fans will be well behaved - as will the vast majority of Welsh fans - its just the minority of dicks that will grab sensational headlines on crap newspapers and forums.

England’s first game on Euro2016 is on Saturday but Englishmen are already all over Marseille.
Last night they were attacked in the pub while they were drinking. Marseille fans could be doing this to make a revenge for the scenes in 1998. English fans were singing “ISIS where are you” earlier today. Police has used tear gas to dispense the English fans

This will have been locals attacking the English, not the other way around. This can easily happen to Wales fans and has on many occasions such as Germany, Belgium, Russia, Holland, Italy all away and all went off Badly.
People need to get all the facts before casting aspersions. It went off yesterday with some Cardiff attacking some Jacks on the ferry![]()

I can't believe they put England fans in the same area as the riots of 98, a place guaranteed for trouble.

They've gone over there full of hate, pumped up by the prospect of Brexit, they've got red hand of Ulster flags hanging from bars, and they're singing songs like No Surrender and 30 German Bombers. Throw in lots of larger and hot sunshine and you're bound to get trouble. They've gone there, in very large numbers, looking for it.
Lets hope the Welsh fans copy the Scots and Irish when they go away. Full of song and colour but still respectful of the local population. Why large numbers of the English are full of hate is beyond me, i really just don't get it. It's like they hate the rest of the world. FFS they need to learn to chill out a bit!

There is a school of thought that the French are keeping all the trouble in one area, glad I'm not out there I have a terrible feeling about this.

But 90% of the time it features the English fans. Fans of Scotland, Ireland, hopefully Wales, and lots of other countries manage to attend football tournaments without having to sing racist songs and get involved in riots. So why do the English? What is wrong with them?

Why would locals be offended by Red Hand flags or No Surrender chants?

You know: "Isis where are you", "30 German bombers", "No surrender" . It's a different mindset to, for example, Welsh fans singing Delilah if you get my drift.

f**k me I've heard it all now, we've not to offend ISIS, as for Delilah it's a favourite of mine but the Lefties and Women's groups claim its misoginistic

You are right, Annis!![]()
Coupled with that, Marseille (as a city) not known for its mild, easy going natured citizens and is renowned as one of the toughest ports in the world...a bit like Portsmouth back in the day, so a powder keg waiting for a spark!

I never said we're not to offend ISIS - stop making things up. I just think fun songs are more appropriate than political songs at what should be a festival of football.
