And a couple off strikers would be good, too!

Otherwise, I wish him luck in his new job! :ayatollah:

I though he should have gone to Leeds United. A good fit when you look at it. After all, he has now had more jobs in one month than they've had managers! LOL :laughing6: :laughing6:

He didn't do anything to use or promote Cardiff youth players when he was here.

Good luck to him. Nice guy but a very uninspiring manager. I think Charlton will struggle contending for promotion with Russ in charge.

Haha, I read that and thought "what the f**k?!".

It has a very successful academy that he can now neglect and destroy.

On the whole, I wish him the best of luck but he won't take them up. Failure via the play-offs at best. Once again, it's the ownership there that's the problem.

On the flip side, he might be having a dig, Charlton have a good academy and we do not?

Slade just never rated any academy players and perhaps he was right. I still think a few deserved a game against Shrewsbury and end of his first season in nothing games, regardless if he rated them or not.

Good luck to him and thank you again for doing the dirty working following the mess we were in post Ole and our Premier League season.

Could care less how he does but glad he has gone off our wage bill. Hopefully he takes some of our dead wood he brought in.

Perhaps he can take Malone and Doyle with him.

Both League 1 standard.

Sounds like a pointless exercise. Like filling random letters on a blank page. Complete waste of perfectly good paper. With a helmet on.

I wonder what impact this could have on any potential to sign Tony Watt? (And yes, I do realize that he currently has a long term injury).

My point exactly. No point taking anything you say seriously.. For the forum to be funny, I didn't think it necessary to hire a clown.
