Millwall fans storming the Barnsley side at Wembley after losing the League One play-off

Barnsley were seconds away from promotion to the Championship, the team leading 3-1 with only seconds to go, when rival fans broke through a police barrier.

Video footage taking by radio DJ Roman Kemp, who is at the match, showed fans in Barnsley shirts running out of the stadium - with their side 3-1 up and only seconds to go.

He tweeted: "Millwall fans broken through police barrier and Barnsley fans now running to other stands."

Barnsley fans were forced to flee to safety as a group of Millwall supporters attempted to break into the opposing team's end at Wembley.

Millwall fans reacted angrily to their side conceding the third goal in their 3-1 League One play-off final defeat and a mob on the top tier tried to force their way into Barnsley's side.

The Barnsley supporters — with families amongst them— had to move further around their section to avoid the trouble.

Was hoping Barnsley won and pleased they did - they deserved it

Surely it's time the FA came down hard on that club - I was saying to my brother you watch Millwall fans start trouble now,just because they can't take losing. Thank god they won't be coming here next season.
