Think we are struggling without them tbh
3 loss in a row if we lose and to play Ukraine and Sweden away will be tough could go into the euros 5 losses in a row
Fingers crossed we get a goal !!

I know Colemans got injuries but what the fucks he playing at.
Adam Matthews left back and Taylor in bench. Surely it's now about getting things right for the Euros not f*cking around putting square pegs in round holes.
Andrew Crofts shouldn't be anywhere near an international football match either.

Crofts looks awful!!
In fairness Allens looked decent since he came on but very average northern Ireland look shite too mind

Andrew Crofts is 32 before the Euros he's a waste of space. Takes 4 touches to get the ball under control.
We should be looking to get Emyr Huws involved before that donkey

Totally agree with this why was Taylor, Allen, and Huws on the bench playing crofts and even Vaughan is a waste of time

Maybe to test the better players away at Ukraine
Thu Mar 24, 2016 11:38 pm
Anyone with a brain could see the only reason we qualified was because of Bale and Ramsey. Nothing to do with Coleman what so ever, We are terrible without them.
Fri Mar 25, 2016 12:06 am
I actually couldn't believe it when Crofts came on tonight, he's surely not anywhere near our plans going forward, I was half expecting Shaun Macdonalds to make an appearance. Also thought Danny Ward should have started for his debut, Hennessey aside our keepers had one cap between them before tonight.

I've never been and still ain't a Coleman fan, certainly wouldn't give him a contract until after euros.
However he has built on the excellent work of tosh and speedo and qualified. And he deserves the chance to experiment in these friendlies.
In saying that I still won't attend a game with Williams as captain.
Fri Mar 25, 2016 12:25 am
I thought the young impetus got us that point second half we were very flat first half Ireland pressed us in our own half most of the first 45 barely got out of our own half from 5-25 mins
If he was going to experiment I wish he'd have started the young guns from the start tbh
But like most said very poor game two poor sides and without a fit bale I would seriously worry about us picking up a point in our group at the euros let's pray he's fit
Fri Mar 25, 2016 12:42 am
Crap without our 2 star players.
Fri Mar 25, 2016 12:57 am
But it wasn't out best team anyway
Fri Mar 25, 2016 1:18 am
A very average team they are our only world class players we have a few other good players but the squad as a hole is very mediocre. As long as Bale and Ramsey are fit though we will always have a chance against any team in the world.
Fri Mar 25, 2016 2:06 am
Could be worse the opponent think Rooney is their best player
Fri Mar 25, 2016 7:04 am
I doubt we would of qualified if had only played 9 players every match.
5- 3 -0
?
Fri Mar 25, 2016 8:17 am
To be honest I'm not reading too much into that game.A chance for Coleman to look at some fringe players and take a futher look at some that he's not quite decided on yet.It looked like a friendly to me and some were going through the motions I think.Probably all change for next time. Can you imagine Coleman playing Bale or Ramsey in a match like this-if they picked up a knock most would have the manager strung up.I think criticizing Coleman for his selection at this point is premature to put it nicely.
Fri Mar 25, 2016 8:22 am
Let's not be too hard on them, granted, we lacked invention in midfield but N. Ireland have no intention to play any football by the looks of it.
Agree with the Crofts comments, not good enough. I wouldn't play Neil Taylor in the Euros either, just play Ben Davies in his best position.

Had to laugh at the TV commentator, he mentioned that Connor Washington who played for Northern Ireland has never even set foot in the country!

Probably the most accurate post on this thread

How would most teams do without their 2 best players? If Bale and Ramsey were out of the euros, that won't be our starting 11, it was a friendly with the chance to play some of the fringe players. Don't read into last nights game too much

Joe Allen is better than over rated Ramsey, I know it's not in the rules but there, I've said it
Fri Mar 25, 2016 4:40 pm
Sorry whiterock. Although I agree that Joe Allen is a very decent player, I think Aaron Ramsey may have got the "odd goal" in the past. To say he is better than an overrated Ramsey is your opinion, but not mine.
Fri Mar 25, 2016 5:50 pm
We have nobody that runs at defence and no pace.....bale and Ramsey are the team..
Fri Mar 25, 2016 6:27 pm
As someone who has watched both progress, Ramsey tends to go missing for Arsenal. Both great players and we are lucky to have them but imho Joe is more consistent
The point I am making is its not about the two, we have otgers and at the risk of upsetting some Ash is important too

What was all this nonsense about potentially losing three in a row? I saw some people (media people among them) saying that we were on a two match losing run. But as far as I can recall, we beat Andorra in between losing to both Bosnia and the Netherlands

Absolutely ludicrous. But then you don't go to games, so what would you know?
