Hand on heart honest answer please
Would you have the same attitude towards someone that raped your daughter
And I am not saying whether he is guilty or not

That is impossible for me to say, however I do believe in second chances etc. Going by what we know of this specific case, he does deserve a second chance is my opinion.
I have 2 daughters, I want them to understand what's right and wrong. Going to hotels with strangers falls into the 'wrong' and dangerous category. Getting completely wasted is also something I do not wish my daughter's being involved in.

Frankly that is an absolute disgusting attitude and thank goodness the law was changed to protect vulnerable women from sexual predators like Ched Evans and the kind of people you claim to associate with.
A woman is not consenting to sex simply because she is drunk and has been herded into a hotel room. Anyone with the attitude should be on the sexual offenders register so they can be properly monitored.
The law states that anyone engaging in sexual activity has to give the consent and have capacity to give that consent. The 'excuse' that 'a woman' was up for it due to being drunk is no longer a defence and anyone taking advantage of a drunken woman in such a way is quite rightly is deemed to have committed rape.
If after the event the lady in question discovered the identity of her molester then why shouldn't she seek justice against that pervert?
It is time for men to change their attitudes towards women and treat them with proper respect and not simply as sexually vulnerable to be taken advantage of at will.

The woman wasn't "herded" into a hotel room though was she. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the woman willingly went back to the hotel room and even remembered to go back to collect her handbag and pizza box she left behind according to the evidence. The woman knew full well what she was doing. Apparently, this woman tried doing it to a rugby player as well. Then there was her tweets about "winning big".

A jury in a court of law found that she was herded into a hotel room and DID-NOT give consent to sex. The pizza box/handbag is not 'proof' she was giving consent to sex. While your slamming this woman why not have a look at Ched Evans behaviour? He had sex with another woman even though he is supposedly in a long term relationship. He also left the hotel room via the fire escape which odd for someone who is 'innocent'
There are many references in this thread to the 'woman knew why she was there' doesn't that also apply to Evans? Sorry but he's got guilty written all over him.

This is not about giving a second chance......if he is acquitted he is deemed innocent until then he is a rapist....

I wish him all the best but he's a convicted sex offender whether or not you think he's innocent or not, if he is innocent then lets hope he clears his name. Regardless if he wins his appeal he's done at this level of football, he was a league one player when this all happened why the f**k do people think he can do a job for us in the Championship when he's not kicked a ball for years.
