Possibly the worst moment as a City fan. I couldn't believe it to be honest. I felt like I was in a tiny minority of people who felt that blue was really important to our identity ahead of investment or success. Looking back I thought a return to blue would take decades rather than a couple of seasons. Respect to,those who fought against it.

Hate the red seats in the new stand.
Hate the red in the new badge.
Hate the red away strip.
Hate the red chairs still in the Press interview room.
etc etc.

Wish it was all back to blue, white and yellow.
Just my opinion.

I had nt been down the city for a while to watch a game but just after the rebrand I went down the stadium
In my very old blue city scarf I could nt believe what I was seeing I thought I was at an away ground red scarves everywhere
It felt like an away game to be honest , it was really depressing . :bluescarf:

Add to that the training tops they pretty much wear every day. The players are kitted out in red for the vast majority of the time while employed by Tan and that is a fact.

I think we all need to move on.

Dwelling on the past is delaying us moving forward.

Majority of time? its an away strip?

I'm not going to get into a row about the re-brand, I got battered for accepting the financial reasons for the ORIGINAL promise, but never did I agreed to the re-brand and seeing what Tan did last month, I was right to agree.

I think there are a lot of factors being put on the crowds not coming. I think when the original 5 year price freeze finished CCFC lost 1000's of ST holders. I also believe the club are putting right a lot of wrongs.

However, i also feel people using the re-brand as a reason to not go still is weak, yes he made a catastrophic error, and thankfully to Ken and Mehmet he has reversed this, and has returned us to blue.

Yet, over 18 months from the reverse people still say I'm not happy because of the red! Its utter rubbish.

I think financial reasons are the biggest issue for people not to return, its simple. The on day ticket prices are also a massive issue, we all used to remember the walk up Ninian Park had, its was 1000's and the club simply does not get the impulsive buyers coming on match day anymore.

Best was of doing this is to reduce the match day tickets to drive people back, remember the old Junior Bluebirds vouchers in the Echo? used to help get loads of fans back in the 90s.

It's a part reversal of the rebranding of the club. They train everyday in red, the away kit is red. The majority of the time the players wear red.

These are facts

Deluded! totally deluded.

Fans don't buy tickets because of the colours the team wears when they train, or have interviews, I appreciate your thoughts behind the away kit but the successful side in the 90's had a red away kit? its 100% behind financial and success on the pitch that causes ticket sales.

You all know that if we win the play off's we will have another 20k fans waiting to buy tickets next season that is a FACT!

People need to be honest with themselves.

Agree on the ticket sales, without doubt promotion brings back paying customers.

I for one am not happy that they train in red, do interviews wearing red, why? Umm it's because no other club in the country shows so much disrespect to the traditions/heritage of the club and the fans who pay money to watch them

Until he respects we are a blue club and completely reverses the rebrand I will always beleive he is the worst owner the club has ever had. I'm not interested in his money, he hasn't got a clue how to spend it anyway.

Believe it or not, I had no problems with Cardiff having a red away kit early 90's :laughing6:

Worst owner? come on mate, the current club colours relate to several successful Cardiff City teams in the past. Has he not just written off Millions of his own money and paid massive debts to allow the club to continue? Let me guess, Sam Hammam was ya favourite? he played with the clubs entire future for his own financial gain yet I see people having pictures with him at Reading like he was a celebrity.

Its this mentality that is wrecking the club.

It's fair to say we haven't had the best of luck regarding ownership. I wasn't using forums at the time of the Hammam era, I was very much the normal fan who was enjoying being a City fan.

I guess where the differences are is the word 'enjoyable' Hammam era was, Tan era is not. That's not just my opinion, that's the opinion of thousands of missing fans who don't attend matches anymore.

Hammam never done anything to upset me as a City fan, I don't get involved in finance, I really am just a fan that loves the City, and likes to be entertained. I believe the club will survive and be supported with or without money.

But that's part of my point, Hammam's era was enjoyable from a fans perspective of course it was, but any true fan will remember Kavanagh leaving and that so called black friday, the club was hours away from complete closure.

Tan reverses on what was a clear mistake, or misinformed as he put it in his statement, yet he shells out millions of his OWN money yet people still hold him reaponsible for the lack of fans attending matches.

Yet two seasons ago we had easily the biggest attendances over a season since the glory days of the 60's.Why? Because of the on field success, nothing to do with the colour of the training kit or in fact the clubs main colours at the time.

His own money back? are you serious, he didn't use a penny of his own money apart from the initial £3m to buy the club,he then put in £26m worth of hedge funds to clear the books, using his own dodgy firm and then got it all back. But it wasn't his money in the beginning was it!

Why are people still defending him is beyond me.

I take the point on board. Hammam defo has profiteered from his ownership which I failed to state

The counter argument is he added value onto the club with players assets, and league status being higher than when he arrived. But I do agree the profiteering is beyond excessive for this achievement.
