I'll be watching the Rugby in my local, looking forward to it, always a great day when the 6 Nations are on. Hope you have a good day, and that the City win.

Have the supporters club etc entered their sales yet?... Surely that will bump it up a few hundred if not?

I'm sure we'll hit over a 1000! Still not brilliant given league position, prices, and distance etc but main thing is those of us who are there making plenty of noise and support for team

Club said over 1000 on Monday.

Fair few have bought since then.

Is it maybe 800 going with the Supporters Club ?

"no wonder so many moan on here about our shite support"

Do you not go regularly enough to not know that our attendances home & away have been low this season?

Last time I went up there we had almost 3k fans. Our support really has collapsed since we got relegated.

We regularly took 2,500-3,500 and even in the old bad days 1,500 this to me shows how bad it really has got, City have lost more fans than we reslise, I've been told we should reach a 1,000 but that's still awful.

Woeful support again. We might aswell just get used to it, it's the way it is these days. Can't seem them rushing back can you?
We used to have amazing away support, sometimes half our home crowds.

Don't get this.
On Monday it was reported that we'd sold over 1000 and been given 300 more.

Tim, I spoke to Vince and he said that he was expecting a 1,000 tickets to sell going by current sales and I put out about a 1,000 City fans going which could still happen, but to be honest that's very poor.

Correct Gareth, last 2 seasons our support has been bad and is getting worse.

Those figures were off the official Cardiff City Twitter feed Annis.

It said 'We have been allocated a further 300 tickets for Saturday's trip to Reading, over 1000 tickets have been sold at this stage.
... And this was on Monday.

Ties in with what you said at the time.

So I can't see why sales have actually reduced ?
Unless travel groups have sent hundreds back ?

Tim, I never said that I put that out, I told you what I put out earlier in the week :ayatollah:

This is what you put out on Tuesday 'over 1000 Cardiff fans travelling to Reading', but I'm not on about that, I'm talking about what the club had put out on their official Twitter , which is what I've stated above, which is why I'm questioning why it's being reported we have now sold LESS than 1000 ?

By the way, I agree, I thought we'd take more than 2000.

I think a lot of fans are saving their money for the euros. For many it's going to be a financial struggle to go away with city in these final weeks of the season and then head to France in June, especially with the rip off prices of euro tickets. I know some fans have made a decision not to go away again this season

Nonsense most City fans will have a holiday during the year, some may have a few. The funds for France will come of their usual holiday budget. Besides our support last season was poor too.

I wonder where all the away supporters have gone from the premier days :ayatollah:

It will be a struggle fella financially your spot on a lot of fans are saving up for he euros & that will have a knock on effect to the city crowds away from home. :bluebird:

bumped into one of the boys yesterday who was a ST and regular away supporter from the Rhymney Valley - he's not been all season, had the stuffing knocked out of him and didn't rate Uncle Fester.

It is a natural aspect of disappointment that crowds reduce - we had years of excitement culminating in the Premier season; it was a really odd sensation for us fans as we'd had naff all like that since Tosh went to Liverpool and here we were 3 finals in Wembley (lost them all), season after season pushing for promotion.

I don't worry about missing fans and why they aren't there - I worry about my club and the game in front of me.

Just picked up an extra ticket at ticket office and we've got 150 left out of an allocation of around 1650.

So 1500 sold.

Plus I'm told we can buy them up there but the prices will be higher.

Ive spend hundreds over the last 2 weeks with tickes, trains, planes for euros. and many many others likewise.

I also dont want to get caught out by the old bill and let them get an opportunity to stop me going to the euros.
im not saying the i would do anything to cause that to happen but i do not want to trake that chance

There are hundreds and hundreds of city fans in this position

this has had an impact on home and away this season

To not factor this in with all the asumptions people make on poor attanances is plain foolish
