Russell Slade on Cardiff's injuries
Friday 11th March 2016
Fabio and Peltier
What’s the situation with Fabio?
Slade: It’s just a one game ban I can confirm.
What about Lee Peltier’s foot injury
There’s a possibility. He will go on the grass this morning to train. I will be looking at him. It would be a huge boost obviously if he is available..
Injuries ahead of Ipswich?
What is the injury situation?
Russell Slade
There’s a few broken hearts after the Leeds match. No, there’s one or two niggly things. We’ve not got a long time for recovery. That’s important now, that’s the main focus. We are getting most of them out on grass. We need to assess and take stock. We’ve one or two problems, but nothing major. We hope to get the players we need over the line.

Team News
Cardiff City
Cardiff find themselves in a tricky situation in the full-back department with Lee Peltier unlikely to return and Fabio Da Silva now serving a one-match suspension. Matthew Connolly is likely to shift to right-back with Sean Morrison coming in to cover at centre-back. Ben Turner is still just over a month away from a return.
Ipswich Town
Striker Daryl Murphy will return to action this weekend. Giles Coke misses out with a knee injury while David McGoldrick and Teddy Bishop both miss out with hamstring injuries. Cole Skuse should return after missing the last five fixtures.

Peltier is still a way off full fitness after suffering severe bruising to his foot in the win at Ashton Gate, although Slade could have the right-back available for the following week’s trip to Reading, having initially feared the former Leicester, Leeds and Huddersfield man had broken the bone.
Fabio will serve a one-game suspension for his sending off, with Slade saying: “Fabio has just gone over to try and make a tackle. He’s made a meal of it but is it a yellow? Yes it probably is.”
“He will serve a ban and Lee will still be a doubt for Saturday, there’s no doubt about that, so we may have to reshuffle a little bit.”
Fabio is serving a one match ban.

IPSWICH TOWN
Ipswich Town Football Club also known as Ipswich, The Blues, Town, or The Tractor Boys) is an English professional association football team based in Ipswich, Suffolk. As of the 2014–15 season, they play in the Football League Championship, having last appeared in the Premier League in 2001–02.
The club was founded in 1878 but did not turn professional until 1936, and was subsequently elected to join the Football League in 1938. They play their home games at Portman Road in Ipswich. The only fully professional football club in Suffolk, they have a long-standing and fierce rivalry with Norwich City in Norfolk, with whom they have contested the East Anglian derby 139 times since 1902. The club's traditional home colours are blue shirts and white shorts.
Ipswich won the English league title once, in their first season in the top flight in 1961–62, and have twice finished runners-up, in 1980–81 and 1981–82. They won the FA Cup in 1977–78, and the UEFA Cup in 1980–81. They have competed in the top two tiers of English football uninterrupted since 1957–58, currently the longest streak among Championship clubs after Coventry were relegated in the 2011–12 season. They have competed in all three European club competitions, and have never lost at home in European competition, defeating Real Madrid, AC Milan, Internazionale, Lazio and Barcelona, among others.
