Before the game Russell Slade came over to have a chat with City fans before the game.

The first person he met was Annis who told him ' I was Anti-Slade before (Slade was shocked) but you have won me over'

Then Annis said you got no hair but we don't care

Slade loved that and said that Orient fans used to sing that to him.

In my opinion after fans rushed to have photos with him, Slade enjoyed the positivity coming from the stands towards him.

Well done everyone. For months we have stated on this message board that if we were going to do something special this season then everyone had to pull in the same direction. Today the players, fans and manager came together and pulled off a great result.

Time now to hold our nerve and keep the good work up!

Fair play to you for that, I had the same doubts as everyone else but we have been excellent of late and the signings he has brought in have been first class. All whilst cutting the wage bill by Millions!

I think it is just a Bromance with the bald head being the attraction.

Huge credit to him for coming over to the fans and for turning things around

I won't say i am his fan just yet, as i said before, if he takes us up, automatic or play offs, he would be right up there with the best.
What i will say is He is a very nice guy who has been abused all season but has stayed calm throughout, nice to see he now getting some credit, so Russell keep it up

Have to say that although during certain times I have felt he needs to go the guy has always been dignified and honest so have never always respected him and am really glad that he is now doing well. Much rather see a hardworking honest manager than some fancy dan flavour of the month poser on twice his wages. For me it would be fantastic if we went up this year under slade after all the shit he has has to deal with and tbh at this moment be happy to give him another year. And that's not just because I just had a cracking day out at Bristol!!

You're obviously a great ambassador for the club Annis, credit where credit is due - well done!

I didn't want him at all initially. I then thought he gave us some team spirit and was impressed by his push for Blue. However, I didn't like his adherence to 4-4-2 and negative tactics. With the system changing and Pilks, Immers and Lawrence so crucial I am definitely changing my mind. Slade is indebted to Trollope though.

It looks like annis is saying if you dont get us into the play offs, i will get mickey mouse in!

It could be argued that Sam Hammam was lied to several times by Ridsdale PMG VT and Borley. Indeed he had to take the club to court because others broke promises to him.

It is easy to point to a circumstance in isolation (the admittance that Sam was Langston) but at the end of the day do you really think Sam would have been paid £24m if it wasn't honestly due to him?

Ken Choo in my opinion has done a fantastic job for Tan, axed jobs where just wasting money,cut backs where needed and has interacted well with our fans.

Annis Ken Choo has done a brilliant job and a huge part of that was listening to fans such as yourself. I know there are plenty of things for the club to still sort out, but next time urge him to spend more money on the academy. South Wales has a rich vain of young talent and the example of Regan Poole is just another notch on the 'missed' opportunities this club has had from Craig Bellamy to Gareth Bale.

The academy is a proven way of MAKING MONEY!!!! It is time to revert to back to our golden period in the 2000's and start producing young players again.

It's a myth Slade won't play youngsters. The reason he won't play any of them is they are simply not good enough. Let's put that right.
