I'm in Annis

Britain are safer & better off in the EU & leaving would be too much of a risk.

The advantages of remaining in the EU: Trade, Freedom to work and study abroad, jobs, security & many others.

And also, what will happen to all the expats living abroad, including you & myself. What would be our future? Would we have a right to live in an EU country?

Before voting OUT think of the risks & consequences of leaving.

Mason, the EU is crippling the UK

As to trade America, China, Russia, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden etc etc are not in it and they survive very very well.

Your family survive in Mallorca on their own hard earned money, like mine will and Spain needs us, even the Spanish Prime Minister stated that in Frbruary this year :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

We have to pay to live in Mallorca, they don't had out money for nothing.
What about all the Russians and Chinese they survive well in Mallorca :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Annis, we gain far more in trade than we spend on it, the EU is our biggest trading partner, accounting for over half of our trade.

What about Freedom to work and study abroad, jobs, security? And there are many others.

We are safer & better off in the EU. I will say it again, leaving would be a big risk.

What's your reasons for leaving?

Out

Don't care about immigration, welfare, or economics. I want to leave due to the lack of democracy and ever bulging political class. Why do i need four layers of government ?

Today we have the president of the EU telling economic migrants not to come to the EU, who voted him our leader ?

What started as a trading club has developed into a political union, fine if you want that, but if that is the case we should go into the inner sanctum and join the Euro. If its so good in the EU why don't we want to go all the way and be a real member ?

I didn't want petty consessions, i wanted real reform that positively affected the whole of the EU, it is so undemocratic and bureaucratic it serves little purpose except keeping, Belguims, Hollands and Luxembourgs economies ticking over.

We leave though and there will be a another recession, the shock waves will reverberate world wide and the EU will slowly implode.

Let's hope Cameron's new deal improves these matters you've pointed out, this is the wrong time for a referendum & a bad time to be considering leaving the EU with all the problems in the World at the moment.

I'm voting out as I want our country to regain the right to set laws that suit us and not what a load of federalists think we should be doing. If we don't leave it will only be a matter of time before we have an ballot to elect the first President of the United States of Europe and that person will likely be German. No thank you.

In respect of the safety of our country I'll take our membership of Nato ahead of the EU any day, France are not even fully participating members but they will be the first to ask us for help.

In respect of trade and jobs if the Germans won't negotiate a trade deal with us slap a 100% import tax on their cars and the trade deal would be signed in days. Same goes with the French.

Getting control of our borders again is the biggest plus point and that's what will improve our safety.

I'm in. I think there is far too much focus on the negatives of the EU and not enough concentration on the positives. We should learn from the mistakes of the US when it tried to go it alone after World War I. It did not work. We are not a self-sufficient country any more so we will need a lot more countries more than they need us. It's better to remain a part of the EU and play a part in its positive evolution than just break away and go it alone. Isolation never ends well for the country that makes the parting decision.

But these type of countries also provide security to Britain & Freedom to work and study abroad. Would our students have a right to study in an EU country if we left? Think of the risks & consequences of leaving.

Santa ponsa blue,
If it was about being educated abroad, working abroad, security and EU Trade but it is not. Ask yourself why does Cameron want this referendum to take place so soon as June, could it be because the MEP's don't meet until September to ratify the so called deal that Cameron is supposed to have negotiated, and is it because he is aware that if we vote yes to leave the EU and the MEP's don't ratify the circus that is this deal he knows we will not have another referendum.

We are going to hear a massive amount of claims and counter claims from both side right up until the time we get to the vote.

If you are worried about living in Spain then don't worry just take out Spanish citizenship or still use you British Passport to travel back and for you are allowed to stay there for six months, then make a visit back home, I have a place n Spain and I have no concerns what so ever, so don't listen to the scare mongers who are only looking out for their own ends.

We pay the EU 55 million pounds per day to prop up a regime that is as corrupt as FIFA, whenever I did business with any body that I did work for, then I wanted to know if they had the means to pay me by doing a credit check on them, the EU have not produced any accounts foe 14 years for Christ sake, where would anybody with the budgets that they have, be allowed
to get away with that, and why does'nt the the EU parliament bring them to task, because it is a gravy train for all who are associated with it, the whole system is bleeding this country dry with their rules and laws that are of benefit to only them.

If people want to vote yes then that is their privalage, but it is not their privalage to ruin our health service, our industries or our way of life for our children.

Vote yes to leave in June we owe it to future generations!!!!.

I'm in favour of leaving the EU.

I've spent a lot if time in Italy over the years, and it has changed my mind from being broadly pro-EU to being totally opposed to it. As I understand it, Britain is a net contributor financially to the EU. This money contributes towards various EU-funded projects. A lot of these go to southern Italy, (il Mezzogiorno), which is largely out of the control of the Italian state. Naples is run by the Camorra, Sicily by Cosa Nostra, Calabria by the N'Dranghenta. The money goes straight into the coffers of the Mafia.

Also, the EU is moving towards a political union. It has no business interfering in countries like the Ukraine.

There are many other reasons, but I'll leave it at that.

Sweden & Denmark are both in the EU Annis and Switzerland is affiliated... As for USA they have already said there will be no exclusive trade agreement and if you think Russia will do business with us, you are very deluded after the UK government froze the assets of many of the oligarchs who had accounts here and then we implicated Putin in the poisoning of the secret agent in London and the situation in Ukraine and Syria. I have just been through the visa application and whereas it used to be relatively straight forward it is now a very expensive nightmare that involves finger printing at the visa centre in London- they want as little to do with us as possible. Not quite so rosy for a post EU UK after all based on your post EU trading partners as Chinas markets are in big trouble too...

In for me definitely, seven years is the estimated time scale to sort out all of the de-regulation if we left which would cripple many UK businesses; jobs would go and Wales in particular would suffer as the far right tories leading the out campaign and their mates in UKIP don't give a monkeys about anywhere other than little England. The majority of our road building, hospitals etc. are built with EU money, so for me the pros far outweigh the cons and I really don't like the racist undertones behind many of the arguments for leaving, much of which is just scaremongering and thinly disguised prejudice.

How is it not about being educated abroad, working abroad, security & EU Trade?

1 in 10 jobs are linked to British membership of the European Unions single market.

Did you know, 1.4 million British people live abroad in the EU, what would be their future if we were to leave?

Also a big matter, leaving would be a big gamble for our security, being part of the EU makes us safer & easier to deal with global threats.

And for trade, well we gain more than we spend.

I'm not worried about living in Spain if we were to leave the EU, I'm just worried about the future of my country & I just think we are safer & better off staying in the EU :ayatollah:
