I never abused mine though , it was just handy and I too received some abuse the other day and I was powerless to respond and tell him to go f**k himself also.

I only ever recieved a PM from a poster in this thread and zap. That was my permission removed.

i put up a post similar to this then the next day most posters had they're pm's back

Well if people hadn't abused the privilege it would never have been a problem.

Personally, there's still some I wouldn't trust with it. But there you go.

Maybe you mis-interpreted my post, maybe you didn't. But all I was saying is that virtually every day there was someone saying they couldn't send PMs. It was a shame that the small minority ruined it for everyone else for a while.

Nothing sinister in my post though.
