Craig Bellamy revealed on Soccer AM that he was offered the Cardiff City job on a temporary basis.

Yeah just watched the clip - he's coming to the end of his pro licence soon.
Don't think he'll be our manager though come the summer.

Wez I defo think he'd take it now. It was an intriguing interview this morning.

He said hes made the decision to take 2 years out and he won't away from that. 2 years is up in June he said.

He spoke really passionate about the kids at Cardiff and really wants to help the club.

He also spoke more football tactics in one interview than Slades talked in 15 months.

When asked what manager he will be he said big on discipline and professionalism. He said you come into work every day and try and be the best you possibly can then you will go a long way.

Bellamy and Tan get on very well and i know for a fact he would accept the job now even with Tan there.

Listening to this, I think Craig Bellamy would make an excellent manager...hopefully at the CCS!

The main reason I think so is because he didn't mention Malky as one of the best managers he has worked with, when he previously has said that Malky was one of the best he has worked with = Saying the right things to Vincent Tan..

Good thinking maybe I'm be wrong about Bellamy wouldn't work under Tan.

I was told by a work colleague who attended a social event with Bellamy that he couldn't work for Tan.

Maybe he has been given some assurances about non interference from Tan that now makes it work for him.

The clearing of the decks of the lazy money grabbing players that Slade has been appointed to do whilst giving Bellamy time to get his badges certainly makes sense.
