MY VIEW/OPINION " CITY TODAY, FAIL TO DELIVER "

My View/Opinion

" CITY FAIL TO DELIVER IN A MATCH THAT THEY SHOULD BE WINNING "

After last weeks excitement, back to reality under Slade and the football that's keeping our fans away.

Plenty of controversity today, but not good football.

Lex Immers came on as a sub and was hard working and was box to box, first impressions looks very good :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

All the hard work was done at Wolves and then we lose 2pts today

Russell Slade stuck with the same team that had won away at Wolves

CARDIFF CITY 2 ROTHERHAM UNITED 2

Crowd 14,885

Away Support 360

Cardiff City Team : Marshall, Peltier, Malone, Connolly, Manga, O'Keefe, Ralls, Noone, Whittingham, Pilkington and Mason.

Subs : Moore, Fabio, Dikgacoi, Gunnarsson, Immers, Ameobi and Macheda.

4th from bottom Rotherham arrived today having lost 3 of their last 4 games, whilst City were on a high after the mauling of Wolverhampton last Saturday.

So City fans were high in expectations and nothing less than a win would be accepted today.

For the first 20 mins there was no chances really created.

Then in the 24th min Malone header to Pilkington who slotted it home 1-0 :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

City went to sleep and bang 44th min Rotherham tore our defence open and they slotted the ball away to make it 1-1

Stats City 57% Rotherham 43% possession

Half-time. CCFC 1 RUFC 1

Second half City still sleeping and with in 4 mins 1-2

Some Quality by Rotherham- and it was coming, we'd lost our way.

55th min good save by Marshall :ayatollah:

58th min Lex Immers comes on for Joe Mason and with in seconds Immers wins the ball and knocks it down for Pilkinton's second goal 2-2 :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Immers was getting stuck in and was running every where :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

83rd min Manga missed open goal

Peltier sent of for a second bookable offence in 84th min

85th min Fabio on for Noone

My Man of the Match Pilkington :thumbright:

Not consistent enough. Not enough real belief and 'killer instinct' in this squad and that simply put is SLADE'S fault.

We're not going down
We're Cardiff City
The manager's a clown'

Pilkinton MOTM for me. Had a real good game. Looks like he took a knock or something towards the end as wasn't running smoothly.

I can't be arsed with researching Slades teams results over his years in management, but I bet he has always managed to get the odd few good results in a season followed by poor or average ones. The reason why he has never got a team promoted and for that matter relegated.

Playing at home with champions League winner Fabio sat on the bench. Disgraceful management, one can only presume he has some sort of playing bonus keeping him out of the 11. Sorry Fabio you deserve better! On a positive note the Peltier Red Card forces Slades hand a bit....
Today, a load of Trollope, pun absolutely intended

We shouldn't be having to rely on defenders to score to beat the likes of Rotherham at home. Simples.

Or the fact he's on the bench could be because can't defend to save his life.

That was a frustrating watch! Two sitters to win it. Immers one-on-one and Peltier with a free header in the six yard box.

I was at Molineux to witness a brilliant away win last week, and it's back to the same old Cardiff today with what should've been three points! Lack of consistency is killing us.

Polo, last I checked Rotherham were sat on fringe of relegation zone away to a former premier League club nestled in 9th....Fabio is an attacking full back and is exactly who should start especially at the CCS.

It really does sound daft, all the hard work last week is once again forgotten.

Agree. Absolutely astonishing miss from a pro footballer.
Head like a 50 pence piece.

I can't believe that Fabio is being left out.

Unfortunate for Peltier, but Fabio's gain.
