What?where do you get this stuff from?
The only people that have the attitude you describe is the newby fans who have only seen us in the top 10, the majority are quite upbeat and realise we are in a transitional stage and a fantastic place financially if it does happen to bounce right back. Id be shocked if we went down and genuinelly dont think we will. A win against Watford on Monday night and we are a few points off mid table. The drama you lot continue to wish to paint yourselves is... amusing shall we say.

Ah the allusive "a win", not had many of them lately and Watford are a good strong team. You are 4 points behind Norwich, the team I think you will need to surpass too stay up. I never thought you would go down 2bh, but now you are looking like that sort of club, lost manager, players not happy, no goals, bad decisions against you, no luck etc....just have a look at planet Prozac, my god you'd think they were all born 10 years ago.....

Oh I very rarely read that forum, I dont feel it fairly represents fans views. It is always the extreme end of the scale when it comes to online forums.
I think it is important to point out however that much of what you have said there is not true. It is easy for someone wishing to paint a dramatic picture to make things up to make a full blown musical out of nothing, im not accusing you of this, maybe someone who made it up told you and you believed it? Ill address the points below.
-We scored 2 goals in our last game and almost certainly would have gone on to win had we not been the victim of the worst refereeing display in Premier League history. It was just one of those freak games. We are looking far more potent now Curtis has us playing the old way again.
-I dont think the players are unhappy, the ones that were are being allowed to leave (Shelvey and Gomis) if the rest are unhappy then it is because of our league position which Id full exoect them (and want them) to be.
-no luck and bad decisions. Id say that was the case for the Sunderland game, but in general we are where we are because we have been rubbish for the majority of the season rather than bad luck putting us there. It hasnt helped but its not to blame.
- lost manager. We didnt lose him, we sacked him. And rightly so. That is a positive. Since Curtis took over our performance levels are certainly heading upwards. It wont come overnight, but our performances against the likes of Man United and Man City away showed me that we are not far away from being in a position to put a run together.

Jesus Christ, you've got one hell of a pair of rose tinted glasses on there haven't you?! You've only won 4 games in the league with 21 already gone.
Say what you like that's very poor form by anyone's standards, if you have the same points return from the second half of the season that'll put you on 38 points, that is touch and go for relegation.

To base our second half of the season forecast on how we did under a completely different manager in the first half is lunacy. But if it makes you feel comforted then be my guest. Im as honest as they come when it comes to my team, i have no qualms in criticising or ney saying if that is what I truly feel.
I think we need 6 wins from the next 17 games to be dining at the top table next season. Do I believe we can at least achieve that? Yes I do. That isnt being optimistic, or looking through rose tinted spectacles. I watch us every week, something that someone who just looks at a table in order to form an opinion does not. We are where we are due to our form under Monk. We have imprived markedly since then, so to assume we will match that in the second half of the season is fanciful id suggest.

Some old fans kicking around in the 80's and 90's fell in love with the club again after getting a glory sized kick up the backside to go again, and the rest are people that have never had the pleasure to watch us before, be that due to age or other factors. We have been there half a decade now, so there were people going now that were in nappies the last time we were out of the Premier League.
We have a great fanbase at the moment, a lot of passionate kids that were not around in the dark days have had the opportunity due to our success to have the club sold to them. These types of fans have never experienced a season where we are not completely safe so they are going to be very concerned, not their fault but they have all the footballing learning in front of them and its an honour to have them at our club.
