' Danny Gabbidon on Vincent Tan and Craig Bellamy '

Danny Gabbidon was on Sky's Fantasy Football last night and he confirmed / revealed a couple of mental instructions Tan has ordered the Cardiff City management.

He said before him and Scott Youngs first league game in caretaker charge against Derby away he called then before the game and told them to tell David Marshall to kick the ball as long and straight as possible and to try and score he said they spoke to Marshall but they had a chuckle about it.

Then when Slade took over and they had been going through a barren spell in front of goal he called all the defenders into a meeting, showed them a video of Hudsons half way line goal and Tan had instructed them to try start trying this

I don't know what's worse. Tan giving the orders or Slade actually making the players, especially players with Ganbs experience, watch the video At least when he told Young / Gabbs about Marshall they just laughed it off with him.

On a positive note he did mention Bellamy and how hardworking and professional he is. How he enjoyed training with him cos if you were sloppy or not giving your best in training he would be on your case. Said he raised training to a different level. Should we go down the Bellamy for manager route that was good to hear.

I couldn't see Bellamy putting up with the Tan phone calls about Marshall and the defence though

I have to admit Annis I did think some of these rumours were ridiculous and far fetched so couldn't believe it when Gabbs confirmed it.

Ohh I do remember telling everyone in one of Nukes exclusives that Tan was giving instructions to Slade on tactics etc. But the Nukes got laughed off. Another exclusive that the Nukes got right. But it took a while to come out. But it wasn't just the total barmy that Slade was being told it was tactics in general. Laughable but oh so very true.
