' RUSSELL SLADE COULD BE FINALLY GOING '

Vincent Tan has held emergency talks with Russell Slade

Slade's Bluebirds were beaten 1-0 by Shrewsbury on Sunday with the defeat being described as the 'last straw' by a club source.

Last night’s embarrassing 1-0 reverse in the Welsh capital has been described as the ‘last straw’ by a club source and a recommendation has been made to owner Vincent Tan to sack Slade immediately.

It is believed Chairman Mehmet Dalman and Ceo Ken Choo have spoken to owner Vincent Tan.

With the January transfer window now open there is also a reluctance to support the Cardiff manager in any signings made.

Senior sources have pointed to the players he has brought in since taking charge in October 2014 as a major reason for concern.

Just pinched myself !!!!!!!!!!

Definitely have to sign Watt though .

This is the exact boost we need if we are to get anywhere this season .

Even with current coach taking over temporarily - Slade has become the main negative factor in our club

Hope this is true - like a weight lifted off my shoulders

Warnock Pl

If Shrewsbury get a home or away fixture against a BIG team, and we can see how much money last nights defeat cost....that will be another nail.........

Mike, Dalman and Choo have never been fans of Slade, but now they have more ammunition to give to Tan.

Revenue talks mate !

Last night cost Tan a lot of money plus fans turning ............ It makes business sense , Slade has done his work for Tan , time to move on .

Fingers (and other things) crossed, Annis!

The good thing is that Dalman and Choo were already concerned at Slade's performance, so if they have any real credibility and/or influence with Vincent Tan they must now exercise it! ;)

Slade's dismissal (as nice a guy as he seems) will boost club, squad and (very importantly) supporters, who are currently mainly disillusioned at the one-dimensional tactics that see us overturned during the second half of most games! :(

A massive fingers crossed Chris, but I still believe Tan is our problem.
But if he brings a real manager in, I would give Tan some respect :ayatollah:

My mate who is a West Ham fan said he was watching our plight and feeling it was the same as when his club hired Glenn Roeder to just be a yes man. He said even if we get rid of Slade there will still be the problem of the owner wanting things done his way and that will either put off any decent managers or restrict the ones that come in.

Personally, I was a backer of Slade simply because I want to back the man in charge at our club but I have lost patience with him over the last 2-3 months simply because he's blaming everyone but himself and I have no time for that selfish and cowardly approach. He has taken no responsibility and learned nothing from his mistakes so I couldn't care less if he went now.

Well, from his point of view he didn't ask for the CARDIFF job. It was given to him. So a huge part as ever goes to Mr Tan. But even Grandmother who loves Cardiff City can see he was out of his depth and 3/4 Leagues above his level. And she's been dead 20 years. Also his coaching team are totally inept. And i don't care if they played for our Club. They haven't got a clue.

Lots of managers out there looking for jobs and (despite what us locals think) Cardiff is still an attractive club with a decent squad to manage ;)

I know Dalman doesn't rate Slade, I've heard him say it myself.

This would be the best news.

Hang on a minute.

I've seen it all in my crystal ball.

Tan sacks Slade.

Appoints Scott Young caretaker like before. :o

We fluke a win or two against teams worse than us.

Tan appoints Young as our new manager. :o :o :o :o :o

It's the nightmare scenario!

For the first time ever for me it's :sladein:

Nah, only joking. :sladeout: :sladeout: :sladeout: :sladeout: :sladeout:

Steve Tucker at Media Wales. I wouldn't hold my breath but I really hope this is true and he's spoken to somebody well within the club.

Sorry...Russel will be with us untill the end of the season, why would the club sack him now and pay him off when he could leave for nothing in the summer?
