Anyway the times:
At least 90 women have said that they were robbed, sexually assaulted or raped in a frenzy involving up to 1,000 immigrant men at Cologne’s main railway station on New Year’s Eve.
Police and the media have been accused of covering up the extent of the attacks to limit a backlash against asylum seekers in Germany.
Gangs of men, described by police as “heavily intoxicated”, gathered in the square before the city’s gothic cathedral, as well as at the entrance to Cologne central station. Police said that the sounds of fireworks helped to mask the cries for help from victims.
A 23-year-old woman, using the pseudonym Maria, told Bild newspaper: “I screamed the whole time.”
She and a 22-year-old friend who had come to the city to see the fireworks were “set upon by foreign men” at the station when they tried to return to their hotel, she said. “They formed a circle around us and began to grope us.
“Their hands were everywhere. There were fingers on all of my orifices. When I screamed for help they laughed. They had my coat open and began searching for my mobile phone. I managed to hold on to it and my money. Other things, like lipstick from my handbag, are gone.”
Another alleged victim, known as Linda B, 30, said: “I saw some women fall to the ground because their legs were held. I saw one lose her slip. I am not a fearful person but I had a panic attack. I ran from the station.”
Angela Merkel called for a thorough investigation of the “repugnant” attacks. Steffen Seibert, her spokesman, said that the chancellor had telephoned Henriette Reker, the mayor of Cologne, to express outrage.
“Everything must be done to find as many of the perpetrators as possible as quickly as possible and bring them to justice, regardless of their origin or background,” Mrs Merkel said, according to Mr Seibert.
Wolfgang Albers, Cologne’s chief of police, said that there had been a large number of serious sexual assaults and one rape. “The crimes were committed by a group of people who from appearance were largely from the north African or Arab world,” he said.
The police emphasised that they had no real idea how many people who had been at the station were offenders, although media reports said that 20 people had been identified through video footage and were being hunted.
Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to descend on Cologne in the coming weeks for winter carnival celebrations. Mr Albers said that he was considering extensive CCTV monitoring in case there were more attacks.
Ms Reker, who was stabbed in the neck by an anti-immigration fanatic the day before Cologne’s mayoral election in October, demanded a crisis meeting. “It cannot be the case that visitors who come to Cologne have to live in fear of being attacked,” she said.
Similar, though smaller, incidents were reported in other cities on the same night. Fifteen men were accused of molesting women on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg.
The German media have been accused of engaging in a cover-up because of the ethnicities of the alleged attackers. As the extent of the crimes emerged on Monday, #Köln and #Aufschrei (outcry) trended on social media. Some Twitter users worried that the attacks would lead to a backlash against refugees. One wrote: “Refugees who really need protection will bear the brunt of the hatred.”
Footage from cameras at the station in Cologne is being examined to identify attackers. Local media said that many men in the station were known to police as con artists and thieves. Five men, aged from 18 to 24, were arrested over the weekend for alleged involvement in sexual assaults and thefts.

Your not thinking its some sort of conspiracy made up by the far right are you?..
Christ this has been mentioned before the 4th jan especially google and yahoo.
And yes they were virtually all non white asylum seekers.
You wouldn't find a very very large group of German men running around doing it.

You talk about upholding civilisation, then hope anyone who doesn't agree with you is raped. There's no hope is there?

Ye its well known I'm a paedophile mate.
Even on a cardiff city forum. A sport where I guarantee a few murky characters have a look.
I take the moral high ground because I can, as I've never raped or assaulted anyone in my life.
