' Are You Happy or UnHappy he's gone? '
Kenwyne Jones?
Wed Jan 06, 2016 8:49 am
Bit of both really. He could have made the difference between mid table and the play offs with the right service but some days,he could be so frustrating.
Wed Jan 06, 2016 9:02 am
For the money he was costing happy he has gone.
Wed Jan 06, 2016 9:05 am
He had lost his enthusiasm, from a clubs perspective good to achieve objective and reduce wage bill now that we are safe.
Did we get a loan fee ?

Honestly, I personally think his salary and bonuses he receives in this league does not justify his performances and goal return.
People will say he is our top scorer we will miss him ect ect, but he should be ripping this league apart, its quite simple! Apart from his goal return he does not offer anything to CCFC, his market value has been proven that he is just an expense we could benefit by putting in a younger and much hungrier striker to chance. Think about it, to think Tony Watt is being paid for by a years salary alone, shows that unless they are breaking there balls for CCFC, they need to be moved on. I'm sorry but I believe in value for money, and city fans just want passion and desire from any player, if we could watch city do there best and lose, but we could see we really tried, city fans wouldn't boo!
Look at Fabio, he has been easily the best player this season, he's not stupidly paid either, but his attitude, passion and personal ability to do his best for CCFC shows that Kenwyn's time had come.

party on the lazy fuka has gone hallelujah

All depends on who the club replaces him with.
As much as he was a frustration to watch his presence in the box especially in the air was good always gonna score goals .
I'll answer the question when I see who his replacement is you can't answer the question until then.

Not worth the money he was on
Wed Jan 06, 2016 10:17 am
I was a fan of Jones, mainly because for most of the time he's been here he's been our most
effective striker, whatever he cost.
However, there is no way he was worth £35k per week.
If the rumours of this Dutch replacement are true then it could turn out to be pretty good business and make a real difference to how we finish the season, particularly if the Watt deal is tied up and Saadi returns fit.
The only way this could be poor business is if the Dutch signing is not true or he turns out to be another Cornelius or Ravell

Happy he's gone, would be happier still if we get a quality replacement

Very happy.

How can you all be happy when you haven't seen the replacement ? Real laughable sometimes haha

exsactly how it is.

If we can replace him with a hungrier, more mobile target man I'll be happy, otherwise no.
Wed Jan 06, 2016 12:15 pm
If we were 2 points clear I would be devestated, but as we are mid table or will be in two games time, I can't see what all the fuss is about. We dropped all those points in Decemember with him playing, so its not the end of the world.

Happy! A big saving in wages which I hope doesn't just slip into Tan's pocket. If used wisely and Slade gets his recruiting right there's no reason to believe we couldn't find a more than adequate replacement.
Wed Jan 06, 2016 12:58 pm
I'm very happy he's gone lazy bugger.
Wed Jan 06, 2016 1:14 pm
Players on the bench had a better workrate. Mason has scored more goals than him. Totally overrated....the only way we'll miss him is defensive headers.
.

When worded like that there will be mixed views.
However if the questions was worded "Would you prefer T.Watt or KWJ" then for me its a straight answer.
I have not seen a lot of Cardiff games this year but I have seen enough to know that Watt gives 150% each game and looks dangerous.
Wed Jan 06, 2016 1:32 pm
now that we have a whole window in to bring in a replacement, we should be ok. it was different last year as we were doing that simply to save money whilst throwing away any ambition of finishing as high up the table as we could.
he's a very good player, but as others point out, its a sound financial decision. when you operate on a budget you have to make these difficult decisions.
Wed Jan 06, 2016 1:36 pm
very much happy. With the side Slade is trying to build there is no room for any player that doesn't give 100% (hence whittingham and jones) Just hope the released wages are used to good effect but I do feel the top people are happy with a mid table season, hope I'm wrong.
Wed Jan 06, 2016 2:31 pm
I think the general answer is happy because of his salary and add ons but he did give us a threat. With the right service from the wings he could torment any defender in the league but his work rate is appaulling. Glad he's gone on a financial view

The question was "Are You Happy or Unhappy he's gone"... It's hardly laughable for fans being happy that a player on £35k-per-week and never looks bothered on the pitch is no longer here

I'm over the moon that Kenwyne has left. The majority of the time that he was on the pitch, it felt as though we only had 10 men playing. I'd even go as far as saying that I'd prefer Revell to Kenwyne

Disappointed, TBH, Annis!
Disappointed that he thinks he is worth £35k per week for walking around a football field with no real (or at least apparent) effort
Disappointed that he failed to live up to his undoubted talent in his natural position
Excited at the prospect of Weghorst coming in (can he be any worse than what we've had in recent times??) and I hope he gets a warm welcome from all our fans!

I feel nothing really, was a very good Championship player but cost far too much.

I would rather he stayed however we are saving about a million pound on wages so works out well for him and us
Wed Jan 06, 2016 9:40 pm
Seems to me there's just no ambition now at the mighty Cardiff City, wages was bad but revell is no where near the player kenwynne is.
Wed Jan 06, 2016 10:37 pm
Very unhappy.
He offered more to our team than some of our fans realised.
Our fans criticised him a lot after Forest last week even though Tony Watt was very poor that day.

Very Unhappy
