He wasn't going to get another contract with us as new it would be lower and he could get better deal elsewhere, as proved!

£50k a week at Al Jazera- tax free no doubt- and nice and warm

We couldn't touch that.

Good luck to him and welcome to Weghorst

I thought I read on here that he was offered a deal but it wasn't anywhere near what he was currently on?

Ross, I was told by someone in our that City offered Jones well less than half his current wages.

Plus City told the Echo they had offered Jones a new contract

Hmmmmm?

Perhaps Jones means he wasn't offered any decent deal worth staying for then?

Be honest Annis, why should we believe anything that the club says? They've lied to us time and time again.

I'll believe Kenwyne on this one, and find it a joke he wasn't offered something.

Ned, So much bullshit has come out over the last 4 years, so many players saying different than our current regime,so many promises made, I personally don't trust 50% of the stuff that is put out anymore.

Exactly Annis, that's why I don't believe a single word. If a player or ex-manager says something then I'll believe them.

Don't forget this is a club and owner who stopped Solskjaer from telling the truth about what went on while he was our manager.

Honestly, the day Tan leaves us, the day I will finally believe we will have our club back.

And before anyone says anything, I personally I can not believe there is anyone worse than Tan out there.

Spot on Annis, that's most of my concern about the club now as well. I told you why the other day.

We can only hope he looks for a buyer soon.

I'll miss him although he was one of the most frustrating players to watch but when in the mood,at least he offered a threat on goal.

Wez,

Say what you like about Ridsdale, but he worked a miracle in keeping us clear of administration which seemed inevitable. He also oversaw the building of the new stadium, whether we like the new stadium or not. And he found the right person to come in, with TG.

Sam Hamman was a fantastic person for the club. Like Ridsdale, he did things which fans look at as mistakes. But remember how united the fan base was under him. He loved Cardiff City too.

Vincent Tan ripped apart the club. He took away all our history and heritage, destroyed our fan base and interfered with matters that had nothing to do with him.

We have never had a worse man to be in charge of the club and never will again.

risdale got rich off us as did Dave Jones his partner in crime ,Sam hamman lied to us all through his time with us ,tan was the only one to put his money where his mouth was ,rightly or wrongly he said he would invest 100 million if we rebranded and he did put it in thankly he reversed it ,we will have to wait and see if when he goes we will be better off ,at least all the debt is owed to him not several e different companies as in the risdale days
