" SO ONE YEAR AGO CITY FANS GOT THEIR WISH/NOW? "

:bluescarf: " SO ONE YEAR AGO CITY FANS GOT THEIR WISH/NOW WHATS THIS NEW YEARS WISH FOR CARDIFF CITY? " :bluescarf:

A year ago Cardiff City were covered in that Despicable Red  and in my opinion had NO identity and we were broken/soulless, We are now Thankfully BLUE :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: For me personally that has helped a lot in bringing some of my feelings back, but still there is something missing big time for me and that was the real passion I had for City before Vincent Tan came to Cardiff City.

Sadly thousands have not returned like they promised and as Ive said before many used it as an excuse, but many also are still hurting and broken.

From a Club averaging 27,500 less than 2 years ago to a club now lucky to get 12,000.

So whats your New Year Wish this Year?

Mines for Vincent Tan to leave and keep his promise and leave us better than we were before he came.

I wish for the old times when I looked forward to Saturday, stood with my friends or travelling to matches.

As I got older I could see the change and feel it. Not the same and not enjoyable.

However, always will be a Bluebird and will be an awkward one when sat with people who say they are Man U or Liverpool or Chelsea fans but who have never seen them play. They have never felt the surge of fan power during a match (plastics lol).

At least I got to be with my son from an early age and watch him grow and the Club, no one can ever take that from me and it was such an enjoyable time, thank you CCFC :bluebird:

My wish is for fans not to blame Vincent Tan for NOT coming to watch our team Annis. How would you feeling all the fans wanted YOU not to attend any more games Annis. You as a moderator have to be fair to free speech even though you may not agree with the view. I respect you for your non stop work for the fans, but think about the damage you do, how is your view going to bring back the fans? What if Mr Tan sells to an owner who is here all the time, then we are watching the money?? Who do we blame then?? Happy New Year to you and your family Annis. :bluescarf:

Vincent Tan to convert all debt, and then actively look for a seller.

That, for me, is much more important than results and the manager. Because they will never change while Tan is around.

We are a split football club
Owner /Fans
Manager /Fans
Team /Fans
Nash Stewards /Fans
Still Fans / Fans
Until we are united again
the Club is a mess won't succeed
Will just be average just plod along with No Paasion

I don't care about Tan. He made a massive mistake and has tried to rectify it, whatever the reasoning.
Some fans loved the big money man u of the championship tag, it never sat comfortably with me, but that's gone and we are still correcting Tan and his executive teams excesses and mistakes.

I believe we have three distinct groups

1- The ones who loved the big spending didn't give a rats arse about red or blue, and now that is gone so have they, first snip of success and they'll be back. Football fans never really City fans

2- The Cardiff City fans who are still there however much they moan and doubt their sanity.

3- Those who have lost their love of what football or cardiff City have become. Still city fans. Not sure how we get those back (probably have city tattoos)

Get rid of the excessive players get us down to a balanced squad hopefully in this window, then bye bye Russ  and start again next season.

I don't it ever return to how it used to be. Once the fans turned on each other that was it for me. Not helped by us whiting ourselves out to tan with Malaysian flags etc etc getting the money we craved and was promised and then be the most ungrateful spoilt little brats in the world becaus e some didn't like a change of colour and change of a picture on a football kit which had already changed in the past.
We had our chance and we blew it. We could have been where leicester are now if we all pulled together and supported our club. But we all had different agendas. Only ourselves to blame.

My wish is for our fans to lighten up a bit. Enjoy the football. It's been a lot worse than this! Yes, the game has changed, but we're still CCFC, we play in blue, and our new ground is just the other side of Sloper Road from Ninian Park. And yes, I know it's not the same, but many clubs are in the same situation. We are where we are! :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

f**k off. See the Xmas spirit gone already. Proving my point as well of fans against fans because my view is different to yours. Never mind.
Also murphy how big a hypocrite are you Cardiff didn't start in blue and didn't start with this club badge. So alright to change when it suits you.
Murphy you can't have it both ways. Grow up chill out and have a happy new year.

100%, I've enjoyed the last year so much more than the 2 and half years before that. Football can be pretty shit on times but it's sort of nice to be complaining about the football than complaining about not playing in our true colours.

I don't care what colour or badge riverside FC had in 1890. It's quite obvious that your just a glory hunter who's disappeared cos we're not prem or looking likely to be there any time soon. Happy new year and remember, city will always be blue :bluescarf:

i'm still shocked at how fickle our fan base is, when swansea got 15k many used to crow at how small they were. what does a residual 12k fan base make us? has engagement on this site gone down in line with our support halving, annis?

i think the best we can hope for this year is to sneak into the play offs, but there is competition from clubs who are roughly equal in quality to us where all involved are pulling in the same direction. sadly, if we go down a goal, the abuse given to the players and management make it less likely we will do well.

the manager is on a hiding to nothing here and so must go. only then can we progress.

My wish is more passion from our team, manager and fans.

I would love to see our home grown players given a chance and to replace the currents egos we have in our squad with them.

Local lads will give more for the shirt and we will identify better as a whole again. No Welsh players in our starting 11 is shameful.

I wish that we all move on.

The rebrand is now history as is our golden opportunity to establish ourselves in the Premier League.

What I want now is a focused fan base who want the best for Cardiff City FC ON THE PITCH!

This season is still wide open and the most focused team will break from the pack into the top 6. Let's see the chopping of the deadwood and possible arrivals of fresh blood as this season's kick start.

We need to rediscover ourselves and become a passionate fan group again which strikes fear into the heart of visiting teams, rather than seeming like a bunch of sulking middle age toe rags (myself included!)

Don't forget guys - 09th January restoration day! we shud celebrate this day every year to mark the day when we got our identity back. I think we have a lot to be positive about as a footy club. Yes me included have been frustrated with the inconsistency of slade amongst other things but things feel a lot better than this time last year. :bluescarf:
