Just down at the ground and just been told going by pre sale tickets etc for tonight's CCFC V Nottingham Forest game that no more than 10,000 Cardiff fans are expected to be in attendance and 850+ Forest fans
I was told this by one of our police spotters


I really was expecting at least 15,000 plus to actually attend as its our Xmas game

I just hope City win

Gutted one of my nephews is a Mascot tonight, as for the fans returning, not until Slade goes and the football improves, we are now down to the City diahards, so unless we make the Play Off Final, never mind the play offs, they won't return

Just because people aren't there tonight it doesn't make them any lesser fans. I'm not local, would have been there yesterday but needing to be in work today after the festive spell made it impossible to get there, will be home for the Blackburn game Saturday though. 250 mile round trip too much this time of the year on a weekday.

I don't really get what you're saying as regards the 3,000 part, but that doesn't matter. I was offered 4 free tickets today by ST holders who are not going tonight, it didn't interest me in the slightest. If it was yesterday afternoon, I would have probably taken them up on their kind offer. Had a really nice day out in local Pubs, where plenty of old die-hard Cardiff fans were swigging. Football is fucked, Cardiff more than most, nothing to do with what division we're in for the people I was with. All of these were going pre-success days, none are interested in actually going to games anymore, it's NOT an enjoyable day out once you're in the ground, win or lose!

10 of us were going to go to this game for our annual xmas boys day out when it was planned for a 3pm kick off on bank holiday, since sky changed it to tonight only 2 of us are still going and we plan to have our annual xmas day out on Saturday for the Blackburn game instead

we've got season tickets but we've learnt that a pub is far nicer to stay in than a miserable, cold, empty ground with no atmosphere , crap beer and crap food.

oh and no one moaning at you with a flourescent jacket on or screaming kids in your ear ole!

How many more exscuses ,was coz we playing in red ,now slade

stella, strongbow, brains dark, guinness, all other lagers, all bottles and sky sports live game - there's plenty of excuses.

An apathy that starts at the top and flies right through the club.
An owner who has now only seen us play at leckwith once in the last year.
Perhaps it would be different if he turned up and supported the team as this would show his intent, he did when we won promotion, don't think he missed a game.
By not turning up does anyone believe he is still interested?

wez is just trying to be positive, you can't blame him for that but the days of taking time off work, rushing from work, leaving the missus with the kids and football was everything are long gone for some of us. Kids all left now and I just can't be bothered, I've just got a personal preference that the club is dire, the leadership is dire and it shows at the playing and management level - dire!

It's not awful at all. It's where we have always been when there is nothing riding on the season.

10-13k attendances is all we ever used to get.

Last 10 years we have always had something riding on it, promotion, cup run, last years of ninian, first seasons at new stadium, premier league.

I feel the same and so do thousands like us. I spoke to people last season who said that after years of going they were pulling out. These were supporters in their 50s and 60s not glory hunters.

It's as if they sprayed an insecticide over the stadium to stop us going.

Got my feet up with the missus and the dog watching telly. It's warm and settled

I won't be there as flying home this eve but be there Saturday! Fantastic thing internet can keep up on here.

People more money than sense buying ticket and not going stupid economics , die hards attend regardless if can call them diehards if can't be bothered going!!
