' WELL DONE CITY '

Well done Cardiff City, we lost today but still climbed a place up the league table :D

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=145418 :ayatollah:

Being serious City fans hoped and expected to get a win at MK Dons today but again on the road we stuttered and failed to get anything out of the game.

MK Dons offered very little today and still managed to get all three points, if Cardiff City hope to secure a play off spot then beating teams that are struggling like our opponents then a win was needed.

I honestly believed that City would make the play offs but results like this is lessening that belief.

Nothing less than a win against Forest will be good enough to stay in the hunt but after two defeats on the bounce can City bounce back and get back on track ?

Luckily we climbed it won't last if this keeps going.

Carl, we are lucky the Championship is so bad nowadays and that Slade inherited so much quality as other wise we would be bottom 3.

Last week Slade blamed the Ref, who this week?

Was there any attempt by Russell Slade to change things ( before 80 mins) once MK Dons were getting on top?

John
Spot on.

Carl.

It's a shocking club. Tan & Slade combined are killing us

Re: ' WELL DONE CITY '

Sat Dec 26, 2015 5:41 pm

I fully intended to drive up today, but a bout of flu meant I listened to the game on-line through local (MK) radio

Everything they said, coupled with Cardiff's inability to capitalise away from home, shows why we will achieve absolutely nothing this season without serious additions the current squad and (more importantly) a change of manager

We desperately need someone at the helm who has the ability to change things and get the best out of what is (on paper at least) a basically decent squad

We COULD still be in with a shout...just NOT under this guy (no matter who 'nice' he is)

Modern football and tan have helped do that. As for results and managers I've seen much worse in terms of league positions from us and ten times less moaners. people seem to think we have a rite to be top of the league points clear on here its bonkers and laughable. Most on here said mid table or bottom four with slade before a ball was kicked now the same people are like kids who had there tuck shop money taken off them because we are not in top two, we lost today that's football sadly.

Slate won't be here next season and hopefully tan will f**k off to

We were a mid table side before the season started, and half way through the season we are still looking a mid table side. Those who thought we could get automatic promotion, and those who still think we can reach the play offs are living in a fantasy world. We will be playing in the Championship next season, and Slade was brought in to keep us in this division during a difficult time. He is not good enough to take this club forward, but will do exactly what he was employed to do.

That's how I see it. Next season who knows who will be in charge

We may have a climbed a place but the teams above us have gained ground. From play offs to 4 points behind in just 2 games.

All those jumping the gun when we were in play offs after 19 games where are you now?!?

We are as close to 16th as we are 6th ffs.

Had Tan invested in a top manager, he would have reaped the financial benefits, as we could have easily gone through this poor division and attained premier league status come May. But the stubborn little man knows nothing about British football I'm afraid. Our club is now a mear shell of a club, nothing like we use to be, no passion and upsettingly no pride. I tried giving away a load of free tickets the other day to my sons under 14s football team. Out of the 16 players, just 2 said they wouldn't mind going :bluebird:

You're right Carl, we can't afford to drop points on Tuesday if Slade is serious about the play-offs.

We are 12 points above the relegation places and 13 points away from the automatic promotion places. Need to win a couple of games or we could quickly find ourselves in around 15th position.

All managers talk shit after a defeat there paid to talk it by making excuses up or the chance that got away that would have changed the game. There pro's at spin.

Yes get on with it but Next manager will be a tans puppet whoever he is, Jose or Joe bloggs because tan appoints manager!! Slade should go its that simple!

Re: ' WELL DONE CITY '

This team will always underachieve with Slade at the helm. Not good enough to get us into the top six despite having a squad that should be more than capable. I'm fed up with the mediocrity on the pitch and the drivel that uncle fester spouts week after week. Unfortunately we're probably stuck with Mr Blobby until the end of the season by which time the Evil Dicktator will probably throw a wobbly and who knows what will happen. Batten down the hatches, there'smore sh#t to fly around before the season drifts further into the sea of mediocrity.

That's just it Allan tan will get another puppet otherwise they won't be employed imo. Slades come here and doing the job asked now the last two managers left and stated reasons of differences. The Hartley guy who turned us down from Dundee stated reasons for not taking the job in the media ( no say in final matters ) so that tells us all its tans way at the club nothing can defend that but I'm sure it's not just our club, that's modern football imo. If the next man is not a name on paper then he will be hounded out to or even if he is give it ten games and bad results you will get the same thing. That's if a better manager would work for him under his terms to start with.

The root of its tan and why the club's rotten to the core imo. Simple as that.

Dominated first half....14 chances 1 taken...their winner from a crap header by Manga (the guy this forum have been screaming for).....struggling to see why any manager gets the blame for highly paid players who cant hit a barn door or header a basic clearance. Tactics MY ARSE, it's shit players.
