So Scott Young is saying (or more likely , as he is hardly the sharpest knife in the cutlery drawer , he is being told to say by Russell Slade) that we now need to focus on bringing in defenders when we probably have , in Manga and Connelly , one of the better pairings in the Championship with cover provided by an experienced ex-international and a few promising youngsters.- Peltier has also played centre back in the past.

Yet we really need to find a replacement for the too expensive Kenwynne Jones if the club is to have any chance of balancing the books financially even if it can shed all the fringe squad players out on loan by more permanent transfers.

I agree with this! I don't see it as an issue! It Means manga finally gets first team football and hopefully shows Slade why he should be first choice at the back and we have tamas as cover! bags of experience! Our loan players are performing well too and oshilaji gets good reviews wherever he goes! He's more than ready to be in and around our match day squad as cover!
