Interesting evening, but we've heard it all before.

Best bits were Ken Choo, saying "they have a 3 to five year plan !

Apparently the club turned down an offer from Man City this week for one of our youngsters (not first team)

War chest for "OUR RUSS" in January is limited.

We are close to getting 2 players from Europe.

"OUR RUSS", wishes he had the Whitts of 3 years ago.

If we cannot find a 20 goal a season player, we need all the other players chipping in (no shit "OUR RUSS")

Lots of, "we all gotta pull in the same direction" and "OUR RUSS", loves the "AWAY FANS".

It was a good evening.
Slade was honest and as open as possible. Explained a lot of things that people had found it hard to understand.

Shame I did not stay back in Cardiff for longer than the weekend as I would liked to have attended the Q and A session with Russell Slade.

Here is what I would have asked in a three part question

Do you read the Cardiff City message boards and if so which one gives you a fairer reflection on how you are doing ?

Secondly. If you do how would you answer your harshest critics who believe you have no back bone, have no respect for you and believe you are a YES man?

Finally would you be willing to do a live Q and A session on the forum ?

Oh and by the way Mr Slade I think you are doing a good job in difficult circumstances !

Fully agree, team can do the talking on the pitch,

Any more questions asked. There basic questions so far. A lot of people spouting off online would never say stuff to him they would say online I bet

The FFP thing is very interesting.
Without the cuts we would have ended up with an embargo.
I think this shows that the club originally gambled big on Ole, prepared to break the rules as they were confident we'd go up.
When we had such a poor start they had a complete change of plan, hence having to bring in a cost cutter rather than a big name.

It adds up, but here's another worry.
We lose a big chunk of parachute money in May, in the meantime only 2 top earners are out of contract, Jones, who the club are trying to keep ( apparently) and Turner.

Where will we save £8-£12m ?

Sadly I see bids for Manga and No one as being not only good news, but essential.
