" So Does Vincent Tan Ever Learn & Yet again what a waste "

My Opinion
SO DOES VINCENT TAN EVER LEARN? WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY & I THOUGHT WE WERE SAVING MONEY & BEING A MORE PROFESSIONAL CLUB AS TANS FOLLOWERS SAY.

Cant Blame Malky for this and as Ive said before its not the managers fault as its down to the people at the top.
I hope we get some honesty now from fellow posters and agree this club is still not going forward.

Are our managers really the ones choosing the players?
Is it the managers doing the contract talks?
Whats our CCFC Committee saying about this?

Championship clubs' agents fees (between October 1, 2014, and September 30, 2015)

Cardiff City - £2,828,133

The figures come despite a reduced outlay on actual transfer fees since Russell Slade took the managerial reins in October 2014

Russell Slade has defended his team's commitment in the Severnside derbyCardiff City boss Russell Slade

Cardiff City spent more than any other Football League club on agents fees over the last two transfer windows, it has been revealed.

The Bluebirds paid agents £2,828,133 between October 1, 2014, and September 30 this year.

That put them ahead of anyone else including other big-spending Championship clubs Fulham (£2,735,336), Reading (£2,391,666) and QPR (£2,361,742).

The figures come despite a reduced outlay on actual transfer fees since Russell Slade took the managerial reins in October 2014. Slade has said the club is not 'shopping at Harrods' anymore and also revealed he had cut £12m from the playing wage budget.

This summer saw the Bluebirds relatively quiet in the transfer window; in came Sammy Ameobi on loan, Semi Ajayi (free), Gabriel Tamas (unattached) and Idriss Saadi (undisclosed).

In the winter 2015 window, they made more deals with Scott Malone, Alex Revell, Lee Peltier, Stuart O'Keefe, Eoin Doyle and Matthew Kennedy all arriving.

Eoin Doyle arrived for £750,000 in the 2015 winter window
The figures, published by the Football League, include payments made by clubs on behalf of players with figures collected and provided by the FA.

Your opinion please

Just imagine what we would have paid if we had signed half decent players?. It just shows even in cutting back wages/players etc. we are still getting ripped off. We need the club to be run more professionally, so let's get rid of those who are responsible including Slade!!!

Re: " So Does Vincent Tan Ever Learn & Yet again what a wast

Bloody Hell! Those figures are shocking!

How on earth can we have spent so much on agents fees when we have spent nothing like as much on transfer fees? It just doesn't add up.

Just another example of how badly the club is being run right from the very top downwards.

Do not understand those figures at all.

I honestly believe our agents fees outway our transfer fees, as I know we have hardly spent money on fees, during this period, Hmmmmm?

Can we get a Tan out smilie?

The fees are higher because since 2014 we have had premiership players on loan and their agents are cuter that most

Never understood why the players dont pay the agents , in any other job if you had an agent you would pay them yourself a percentage of your earnings. Its bad enough that the clubs have to pay transfers high wages without paying an agent for the privledge of signing a player.

Yes Morrison fees included in the fees also all of oles summer signings it covers from end of last season to start of this season

It does not include Ole's Summer Signings, I just rang Gaskel.

Championship clubs' agents fees (between October 1, 2014, and September 30, 2015)

Morrison was signed by Tan

Only one person to blame TAN.

Cardiff City spend more than any other Football League club on agents fees in past two transfer windows :o

Championship clubs' agents fees (between October 1, 2014, and September 30, 2015)

Cardiff City - £2,828,133
Fulham - £2,735,336
Reading - £2,391,666
QPR - £2,361,742
Hull City- £1,813,919
Nottingham Forest - £1,440,730
Burnley - £1,363,831
Blackburn Rovers - £1,254,610
Derby County - £1,102,071
Bolton Wanderers - £964,869
Brighton & Hove Albion - £912,421
Middlesbrough - £850,285
Wolverhampton Wanderers - £849,600
Sheffield Wednesday - £792,203
Leeds United - £786,897
MK Dons - £672,371
Charlton Athletic - £656,759
Brentford - £600,636
Birmingham City - £443,570
Huddersfield Town - £429,343
Ipswich Town - £261,347
Bristol City - £231,316
Preston North End - £194,961
Rotherham United - £185,430

Does that figure include on going payments to agents from all the city squad ? Agents don't just get paid on transfers they can get monthly / yearly payments on life of players contracts too ,it does show that agents are getting loads out of the game I wonder how much we paid out in the premiership season

Wez, just finally admit, we are not going forward and never mind years before, these are up to date figures and we are top of a shocking waste of money league, are we not? ?

How is this showing we are not going forward ? These fees include any renogoations of contracts and retaining fees of all the squads contracts they are not on just on transfer fees in the past year and they are the same for the last three seasons ,we have one of the largest wage bills in the championship so we have the largest agents fees are we being ripped off ,maybe we are but sadly football is full of agents

With everything else thats happening at our club, league position, low crowds, awful football and debt created by Tan, you must be one of the only persons still backing & believing in Tan and now these latests agents fees and we are the highest   , I honestly give up with you Wez, lets leave it there.

Keep th faith Annis ,I don't know why you worry so much it's not your money

Wez, but like you ,its the club I love and care for :ayatollah: and not only has Tan ripped the heart out of it, its still being run badly.

Just a thought, when it says "include payments made by clubs on behalf of players" does this mean it includes wages we may be paying for our players out on loan? If so it probably doesn't surprise me!

Jon, 80% at least of our wages are being covered by the loan agreements, so the other clubs are paying them, and we are talking about Agents fees on transfers, not wages.

It's bound to be all the players we've been offloading. Their wages were so high we were probs just getting all sorts of agent's help touting them round.

I'm sure we saved money in the long run.

Its probably to be expected Annis, as we still have players on Premiership contracts and a lot of the those fees will be on going from the deals done over the last couple of years contracts. Look at the other big fees, Fulham, Reading, QPR and Hull, all relegated clubs with Premiership players on the wage bill. Unless we see it broken down into fees paid on the new players brought in, then it's unfair to jump to conclusions
