City fans won't come back under Slade and that is the true facts, that's all I have to say after another 3pts thrown away fans just don't believe in him and I totally understand why.
I never ever hear of City fans saying positive stuff about Slade.
Sat Nov 28, 2015 6:13 pm
It's difficult to find anything positive to say about him unfortunately.

Got to go f*cking useless puppet

Played well good point against a top 3 side unlucky with the own goal
Sat Nov 28, 2015 6:16 pm
We are a mediocre team, managed by a very mediocre manager. We have a squad capable of the top six, but a manager who is tactically naive, Cardiff won't pay the wages for a proper manager, Slade is here long term so we may as well all get use to it
Sat Nov 28, 2015 6:17 pm
Just a thought when was the last time we scored 3 goals?

We DON'T have a squad capable of the top six. We have a starting 11 capable of the top 6, but our lack of strength in depth because of Tan's cost cutting costs us time and time again. Players had to be replaced because they weren't fully fit/tired and the players who came on weakened us and cost us the win. That is NOT Slade's fault!

I quite agree , but you forgot to say that it is all Slades fault. A sensible and reasonable comment that has no place on this board. Expect abuse soon.
Sat Nov 28, 2015 6:22 pm
I disagree and think we have a squad that is capable of a top 6 finish. With the right manager in this poor league
Sat Nov 28, 2015 6:24 pm
I must say I enjoyed the game today and for obvious reasons not the last 9 mins. For me the players must take the blame and Slade.
Sat Nov 28, 2015 6:25 pm
If any consolation my season ticket stayed tightly in my drawer, only one airing this year so far but soccer saturday was excellent!
They've had my money, they ain't having my sole and making me miserable as well!
It's nearly two months since I have mentioned the S O words, I've past caring whether he stays or goes, I've enjoyed the last 37 years watching city no matter what league but it's sole destroying going down there now, just no enthusiasm for it - and there are many old heads in the same boat!
I'll keep the good times as memories, even relegation ones!
Sat Nov 28, 2015 6:25 pm
This is what I believe:-
-Slade is a clueless idiot who should be doing far better with this group of players
-He won't ever drop Whittingham
-Tan could not give a flying f**k about the club
-Without David Marshall in goal we'd be flirting with relegation
-We can't create any real threat except from set pieces
-Manga should be in the team ahead of Morrison
- We have absolutely no realistic prospect of promotion this season

all the texts I had said the same, but they also said it wouldn't take much to get Burnley back in the game, it's a collective responsibility, we need a leader, on and off the pitch!

Today was not Slades fault! It's Football it happens we buckled they are a team who will never give up. As frustrating as that is, that was the truth today. You can't blame him for everything. It's laughable.
As for slade yep out of his depth yep won't take risks and yes boring although improved today, but Slades fault today? Am afraid not.

I agree with you.
Why aren't we one of those teams that "never give up" though?
Could you ever foresee us coming back from two down with 4 minutes left? At Derby last week we could still be playing and we wouldn't have scored.
Maybe due to Slade's inferiority complex in this division?

I have up this season, missed it but glad I don't have to watch or listen to what comes out of the club.
Support the team? Club don't support us so why should we

I don't agree with that, we stuck at it against QPR we rescued a few points earlier in the season this team can be criticised for many things but the majority of times it's not through lack of trying or will to win.
Sometimes you have to look past the result, Ralls in the middle is a huge positive, the lad watt has potential to be decent for us and we played some decent stuff in awful conditions. I am gutted as the rest we buckled, but to many just focus on the result and the frustration of screwing it up and want somebody to blame.
A million scenarios and changes Slade could have made, all hindsight and easy to criticise when it was 2-2. Can I remind some Burnley won 5 drawn 3 last 8 games. We must however bury our bottom team jinx next week and beat Bolton.

Im sorry lads but i disagree we have a squad that is capable of promotion.
David Marshall is an exceptional goalkeeper and always gives his all. The rest especially whittingham, gunnarrsson and noone just have that losing mentality about them. I was at Derby and it was thoroughly demoralising watching a team that had turned up to lose.
Do i think Slade is the wrong man for the job? absolutely. However you cant wholly blame the lacklustre and gutless performances on a man who is not even on the playing field. Nor can you blame the fans,we arent stupid to repeatedly cheer and clap like mindless robots when there is zero entertainment about
A massive clearout is needed in Jan but unfortunately i fear the only departure may be David Marshall who deserves better.

Today was far from gutless or lacklustre. Massive clear out? The last thing we need, it's decent enough that needs a few out and more than a few in. You would swear we sit bottom of the championship.

throwing away a 2 goal lead to a less then great burnley side in the last 5 minutes says something about the players mentality.Do you think we were unlucky today? i dont, you could see it coming from a mile away and Derby was shocking
Do you think we have a side capable of promotion?

Some people must not of gone to the game or got shit in their eyes, we looked class for part of that game, the defence looked solid. Even when we made a mistake e.g. Marshall chasing a no ball the players got back on the line and made 2 clearences.
Passing and moving in the first half was great, even with Jones being useless all game.
Trouble is its a good team, but there a few too many players who are slow on the ball and want to pass backwards or sideways and it stalls some attacks.
We played some great balls on the floor on to running players which should vision. Im just so angry how went from playing great football to Unibond league hit and hope...
But why didnt Slade see what was happening? The changes they made? Thats why he needs to go, his changes were wrong and made no effort to play a different formation that would allow us to try and keep the ball a bit.
Burnley couldnt score when we held the ball
