America indirectly supports Islamic State but doesn't actively support it and whilst it also had a factor in its creation, it is not the sole reason it exists today. You are simply oversimplifying the issue at hand. A lot of money exchanges hands and a lot of governments are working in their own interests. The fact is, even before we started intervening in the Middle East, Islamic nations were at war with each other for many reasons, some that still exist today i.e. Sunni vs Shia.
