" RUSSELL SLADES MANAGERS JOB IN DOUBT? "

NO it's not.

Yes Tan contacted Slade after a bad run and a terrible performance and defeat at Leeds, but I've been told Slade has Tans full backing this season to continue to be City's manager as long as we don't get involved in any relegation battle, which to be fair to Slade that does not look likely :thumbright:

I am not a Slade fan, but I am a Cardiff City fan and will continue to give the team my full support home and away no matter who the manager is or what ever our results are :thumbright: :ayatollah:

So it does not matter if you, myself, the Media,Dalman or Choo are not Slade fans, Slade is virtually guaranteed to stay this season, so incl the media let's concentrate on supporting the team :ayatollah:

It will be interesting in January if Slade is allowed to bring in at least 2 players that he wants, I would like to see him backed on this, because as I've said before either back your manager on players or sack him.

Our crowds are very disappointing so far this season, but hopefully if we keep hanging around near the play off position they will increase.

He is cheap, he has played a part in reducing the debt and the wage bill, and I have said since day one that as long as we don't get relegated he will have done what he was employed to do. I can't see us being drawn into the relegation battle, and as I said yesterday when Bellamy was being talked about, Slade is not going anywhere for the time being.

Shame :sladeout: :sladeout:

The crowds will stay as they are I suspect - people wont return to watch his style of football

We will see what happens when the season tickets are due for renewal, he has to be in the top 6 or close to it

Its worth turning up these days just to watch The David Marshall Show , those couple of minutes in the second half got everybody off their seats

Still want him gone, his contract expires at the end of the season I believe I hope it doesn't get renewed

it certainly does, and i expect him to get another year should he keep us in the top 8

If we get some real attacking pace and power in jan I believe we can make the play offs. As things stand I'm sticking to my prediction of 8th.

You won't be singing that tune when Marshall, Manga, Jones, Fabio and any other players leaves. Coupled with the fact that any half decent player won't sign for us as we look unambitious!

Be even more empty seats then :sladeout: Even Tans hangers on don't even come anymore :sladeout:

He has done a good job under the circumstances, football has been so boring at times, but it's a results business, he is doing ok. The season we got promoted under MAlky, after Christmas it was awful to watch, apart from forest game, but it didn't matter as we got where we wanted.
I expect if he fails to make play offs, he won't be here next season. All we can do as fans is support the team, Saturday was a much better atmosphere, so let's get behind team til end of season, I am confident of a play off place if we can get a pace forward in January.

As of now , I won't be renewing my season tickets for next season in the family stand , that is £699 the club won't be getting
The Leeds result was a new low for me ...... losing to such a poor side
I'm pissed off with all the turmoil at the club over the past few seasons
Its up to the club to get me to change my mind and make a public statement of intent ..... Dalman or Choo where are you
I want to go to a football match and enjoy it and not feel as if its a chore
I have watched Cardiff from time to time since the Jimmy Scoular days ...... the highs are memorable and the lows are foregetable
I have taken my sons and now take my grandsons ...... at the end of the day I want them to enjoy the whole experience

Another one to join the Thousands who have already voted with their feet.

I am sorry to say that if you are waiting for someone at the club to contact you then DONT!

No one has contacted me to see why my 4 were not renewed and after a great number of years of support. Left us feeling like a commodity which would never have happened in the past :bluescarf:

I don't like to say it but can only see it getting worse (hope not) still follow the scores but agree with you to much turmoil at the Club has taken its toll.

As for Choo and Dalman? In their ivory towers and not in the real world :ayatollah:

Can't see crowds going above 15k unless we start banging the goals in and go on a run!

Re: " Russell Slades Managers Job in Doubt? "

At the end of the day football is supposed to be an entertainment business. The football has not been entertaining since Slade arrived.

I know that there are some die hards, but for me I won't be wasting my hard earned money to watch consistent dire football from an utterly clueless manager. What's the point in that? Im not wealthy enough to waste money and that's how I see it at the moment.

Either there is a change in approach or a change in manager or I won't renew. I would rather we stayed in the Championship and played decent attacking football, even if this meant losing some games. At least there would be passion.

Im not a glory (and not a die hard either) but I do expect to receive value for money, and not go home wondering why I bothered going to the game.

Our results have also flattered to deceive, because Marshall is an outstanding goalkeeper. If he was to leave in January, I can see big problems.

Maybe when crowds fall below 10k, the management will review the situation.

Make the most of it, prem clubs will be banging on the door for him in January, will only take one of them to agree he can be based in Cardiff and he'll be sold!

And who would blame him.

£6m easily.

Try celebrating the fact that 13,500 supporters still DO come along...or is that too positive for you??

It wasn't too long ago some of us were sat in the old stadium with crowds of less than 4k ;)

I would prefer those old days at NP.

As far as the 13,500 take off the large Reading contingent and the FREE kids tickets and you would get the real attendance :ayatollah:

This is a good point. We are not a big club, we are never going to compete crowd wise to the big clubs in the championship. 13,000 isnt a bad crowd for our size of club. Cardiffs ambisions have to be to keep us as a decent championship side. :bluebird:

For peanuts he bought a few squad players to replace big names. he done what he could with the budget. Maybe he could have done better but it's not like he spent millions and millions on over rated mercenaries like ole. Peltier and malone have been tidy cheap signings that are part of a very solid defence and kennedy could clearly make an impact in the future.

Ok Doyle, revel, Okeefe... Questionable. But cheap and low risk so no real loss. All managers make bad singings, malky made enough, even Fergerson had howlers.

Re: " Russell Slades Managers Job in Doubt? "

People are using Slade as an excuse not to go, if he was sacked and another manager came in with the same results there wouldn't be any increase in attendances. If Slade was our manager in the premier league we would have full houses and none of this shite from people saying they don't go because the football is shit.

To my mind Malkyball was the worst type of football I have ever seen and people were crying on here when we sacked him.

People aren't going because we are in the Championship, we are a plastic club to the core now. One season out of over 50 dining at the top table has turned us into that.
