" TONIGHT SHOCKING/DIRE I FEEL FOR "

Tue Nov 03, 2015 9:40 pm

My View/Opinion

I FEEL FOR OUR FANS/ WE REALLY ARE THAT BAD

SHOCKING/DIRE AGAINST A LEEDS TEAM THAT HAD NOT WON AT HOME SINCE LAST MARCH

First half not a shot on goal by City, for me it's just getting worse and worse, City fans deserve better.

NO LEADERSHIP / NO DESIRE AND NO TACTICS

LEEDS UNITED 1 CARDIFF CITY 0 :o

Crowd 17,914

Away Support 184

City team : Marshall, Peltier, Malone, Connolly, Morrison, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Noone, Ralls, Revell, Mason.

City Subs: Moore, Tamas, John, O'Keefe, Pilkington, Ameobi, Jones.

City travelled to Elland Road having not lost to Leeds since 1983/84 season. Leeds go in to this game currently without a win for 7 games and the club in dire straights.
Just under 200 Diehard City fans cheered City on from the first seconds :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

To be fair atmosphere was good, football poor and passing worse than awful.

I will sum the first 45mins up DIRE

HALF-TIME LEEDS 0 CITY 0

Second half continued like the first half clueless by City

Ameobi came on for Noone

In the 63rd minute a superb goal by Leeds

68th min Kenwyne Jones on for an awful Revel

Joe Mason was put through 72min and just tapped the ball at their keeper, shocking :o

Pilkinghton on for Whityingham 77 mins

My man of the match NONE OF THEM

Up next Reading home this Saturday :ayatollah:

Play Kennedy. Play Pilkington. Use Declan John. Play Eoin Doyle (oh wait).

If he doesnt start changing things he can go.

He is playing people totally out of form, in a system that has not worked for a while. We are lucky we got a few wins at the start.

Luckily Kenwynes back now. Cant believe im saying that.

I am glad I changed my mind and bought a season ticket, I'm even more pleased I have only been bothered to go once this season and doubt I'll go until xmas, the pub, gillette soccer saturday with jeff stelling and an afternoons entertainment watching my football bets go down is far better than going to watch crap.

Still, there's always my £20 back in the running for relegation!  :laughing6:

Slade did his job last year and we needed a manager like that, he steadied the ship but the summer time was when we should have thanked him and moved forward. 9 hrs no city player has scored, no invention risk or pace, Mr Slade pressure is on.

Eight points out of a possible twenty seven since the start of last month I believe. No doubt we will still have that small percentage of blinkered fans living in a fantasy world who will still believe we have the manager and players to get us promoted, but the vast majority who know a little about football knew all along that we are a mid table side. Even that may be a bit optinistic, because right now we are relegation form. Does anyone really believe that this club is serious about promotion?

I'm new to this forum but have supported my bluebirds since my first game which was Aldershot town at home the game before they went bust but I am really struggling atm to
Even attend a home never mind away game.. I hardly went whilst we was in the premiership as I felt we had lost our identity and it just didn't feel the same anymore. I'm starting to feel the same way now. I love the club with all my heart and would give anything to be standing In the Grange End on a wet Tuesday night playing Barnet doing and saying whatever I feel be crazy and nobody telling me otherwise but those days will never return.. I'm not saying I want to the be the best team in the world but FFS give us something to get excited about please.. Give me my buzz back cus I am missing that feeling in my life :sladeout: :sladeout: :sladeout:

Annis the writing was on the wall, they haven't won at home since March, haven't beaten us since we dumped them out of the cup, we can't score, they have a manager that has done us once already this season, we are going to drop down the table like a brick, Sad really because we started the season playing decent football, however we are now shocking. Something needs to be done and quickly :ayatollah:

We can all suffer bad form and injuries but the lack of pace is our biggest problem, Slades insistence not to change things. It's not a crisis but Slade steadied the ship last year and the more entertaining football in the early season is but a distant memory. :sladeout:

I've got to say that's pathetic. You changed your mind three times last season as well.
"A proper supporter supports his manager" as you've been banging on about on every other thread.
Dear me you're a joke.

No passion under Slade, no bottle, no creativity, no pace, we have learnt nothing from last season, didn't address the issues raised and are trying the same thing! Slade is way out of his depth, I can not give this guy my support and backing! This Leeds team havnt won at home since March, are in turmoil on and off the field! This defeat hurts! Attendances are in decline and will continue after this! The performances are unacceptable! If we want to salvage anything this seasons we must act now before it's too late! If we continue at this rate we will be fighting to stay away from the bottom 3 again! This will result in less season ticket sales again next season and we will continue to fall'.

Congratulations to Russell, 17 years Leeds have been waiting to get 3pts against Cardiff.. They're finally done it, plus he's given them their first home win in 7 months.
