For me today showed Character by City and that City can dominate a game and got what we deserved 3pts
City had 59% possession

3pts well deserved

City are now in the Top 6

Both sets of fans helped make an atmosphere today

Moore, Malone, Fabio, Morrison, Connolly, Ralls, Pilkighton, Whittingham,Dikgacoi, Jones and Mason

Sub Wilson, Tamas, Manga, Noone, Gunnarsson Ameobi and Revell

City went in to this game with 2 defeats behind them and were today facing a Charlton side who had not won for 4 games.

First 15 mins all City attack after attack
It then evened out and Charlton had their chances.

In the 40th minute Mason rounded the keeper for what looked like a certain goal to be in my mind brought down, yet the Ref booked Mason

Half-time City 0 Charlton 0


48th Minute Morrison failed to clear the ball and put Charlton through to score a well taken goal 0-1
51st Minute a clear handball by Charlton but Ref waved on No penalty

Thankfully Mason got our revenge and scored in the 52nd min 1-1

67th Min Ameobi came on for Jones

74th Min Noone on for Pilkighton

75th min Goal Morrison 2-1 CITY

85min Gunnarsson for Mason

Norms, I have enjoyed this season so far,best for a couple of years
But the jury is still out for me on Slade, I said 12 League games would decide for me,but I need to see what happens when we play better teams and if Slade can handle the pressure of keeping us in the top 6.
I am loving wins like today, but I am honestly still undecided .

Morrison ok,but Fabio was quality again, I gave it to Mason as he worked his socks off today,just a pity his finishing was not better.

Couldn't agree more, final ball was poor but that will happen at times. At least we are working a position to be able to play the final ball. Morrison had his critics but superb again, fabio mom although quieter by his standards but again that will happen. Atmosphere was ok in and out like the game, fans are trying and we are moving in the right direction, it's good to see.

I feel we have had to go back to go forward from fans to board room to players and I feel we have done that quicker than I thought possible. The fickle fans which has always been the case at our club will return, this lot might surprise a few but we need that decent striker to complete this team

And to the clowns who bood ralls for two successive bad passes! Hang your heads in shame, one of our best players and future of our club!! Morons!!

First ten was good, then in and out, wasn't anywhere near hull match but we all know through the season you have good bad and average! Will take time

Nukes, not amazing , but much much better than last season

Ian, I thought we should of been 2 or 3 nil up with in the first 20 mins, then Charlton could of scored 2 in the first half, but over all we deserved the win and it could of been by more. Charlton have not now won for 5 games now, poor team they are .

From what I am seeing this season Annis it looks to me there is very little amongst the teams. Have a bad day and any one of them will beat you. Take your chances and you will win. Definitely fine lines.
