It would for sure
I'm not bothered about the likes of Bellamy etc. I'd like to see some of the older players though - trouble is I go back quite a way!
Kavs would be brilliant.

Leon Barnett. He was brilliant during his time here and the image of him being lifted onto the shoulders of fans and being embraced when we secured top flight is amazing .Tried to add the photo but didn't know how to.If anyone else can put it on here I would be so grateful.Him and Kev were ecstatic.

You won't be seeing Eddie Johnson, he's got an heart condition and had to retire.

I'd rather see more of the promotion winning side from div 1 when kev first came into the team. Earnie, kav etc

I always thought with testimonials, it was players that played for the club while the player was there.
I dont think the likes of kav and thorne could play as theyd already left by the time super kev joined.

Earnie and Thorne would be my personal favourites after Kev of course. Think Leo and Eddie Johnson would be amusing. :ayatollah:

I've just spoken to Ken Choo about this and he likes my idea of a 'Wife Zone' so that Kev can get all his shagging done.

Testimonial game, giving money to an already well off young man,not necessary in this day of huge wages.Maybe a whip round to say thanks to someone like Peter King who played fourteen seasons for City his only professional team would be a great idea though.

Whilst I also agree Peter King was a worthy and loyal player for us, and one I enjoyed watching myself as a boy, that fact should not detract from the overwhelming sentiment and good wishes held for SuperKev by so many City fans.

Perhaps he will donate the money to charity, which is what a lot of current players do who get testimonials. Perhaps he has already decided to do that, who knows - you nor I certainly do not know, do we?

I agree and no doubt he will, it's not about the money but showing our appreciation to a player who gave everything for the shirt which in our part of the country is appreciated more than skill.
