Like Guerra, another striker signed on the wishes of Vincent Tan.

People will claim otherwise but the truth will eventually come out.

Burgstaller was another of Tan's gems.

Leave the signings to the management and scouts Mr Tan.

Wez, as I have said to you before, Malky didn't want Velikonja, he was a player that he tracked whilst at Watford but didn't want him at Cardiff, Tan was given the 'heads up' by Mourhino and signed him for Malky.

I am not lying and Malky was never going to say that he didn't want the player after the club and owner paid £2m for him was he ?

Or do you think Malky should have said that I dint want this player but the owner does ?

Honestly I would like to know your opinion on what Malky should have said at the time.

Guerra and Burgstaller were two others I am told that were signed by the owner and not on the wish list of the manager.

Totally agree with your comment Carl but someone must have advised tan that the 3 aforementioned players were good.

In fairness all 3 have never been given a chance and they all had reasonable pedigrees. The frustrating thing is that these 3 deals and others have cost the club millions.

Mackay was tracking Velikonja at Watford.

Most likely Tan was aware of this and bought him as a 'present' for him.

I have never said Tan was picking the team Wez.

You are totally wrong and quite frankly bang out of order on that.

Carl.
Malky could have said nothing.
He didn't have to go on about how much he wanted him.

The guy was either Malkys player, or Malky was talking a load of shit.
This has all been done and dusted before.

The lad is finished with us now and Slade with the help of the board is slowly sorting the dead wood out of the squad.

Whatever happened, time to move on. Best of luck to all of them. No hard feelings. We're coming to the end of a bizarre episode in our club's history.

Signed by Tan, without consulting Malky. Shouldn't Vinnie ship him out to one of the other clubs he's collected. Mind, if the crisis in Malaysia continues Tan could be seeking exile there himself!

You used to say that all signings were down to tan ,I remember you using that quote regarding cornelous, when people were damning Malky over it .you clearly stated that tan and the board rubber stamped all inward transfers ,so what's this new statement trying to say ,sounds to me like Malky was just a yes man after all ,but you still rate him ,IMO he's no different to slade in that case ,except slade won't leave us in a financial mess of his doing :sladein: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Wez you know the score. The good signings are due to Malky and his dossier the bad ones are Tan signings. Those that were bad signings but came good were bought by Tan but coached to become good by Malky.
