" What's going on at city? "

Two wins on the bounce backed up with decent performances, unbeaten and scored in every game. A superb bench with hungry players who want to win, a togetherness and great team morale. I have to say Well done RS, expectations will rise. #nobodytofear :bluebird:

Undefeated going into the international break I think everyone would have taken that at the start of the season. We're ticking along nicely and playing some great stuff, long may it continue.

I never thought I'd say this but... Russell Slade must take massive credit for our start, he's been slated loads when we've not been doing well but must take credit now when we're doing well. :bluescarf:

Been a big difference since Trollope arrived :sladeout:

I believed he did a good job last year but wasn't the man to take us forward, he without doubt deserves credit and is slowly winning fans over not just results but style of play. Credit due

You looked surprised Rydogs! ;)
I did say at the beginning of the season - like a few on here but not many - that I was giving him a chance and a clean sheet for the new season. Not because I believed in him but because he's our manager.
It's early days but we'll see!

Had it not been for the silly goal conceded at Blackburn we would be 2nd on 11 points!

Good so far, absolutely nothing to whine about in my opinion.I said many times Slade wouldn't have been my choice but give him an opportunity to prove himself.Excellent result today.

Add that to Simon Moore's mistake at home to Fulham and we'd be top

It'll go to Brightons manager without doubt. He'll be in the shortlist though for sure.

I don't believe you can say that, avoiding mistakes are part of the game. Had it not been for to wonder strikes by us we would've minus two points so even I guess :thumbright:

What absolute nonsense.
Whatever you think of Slade, there's no way we will get relegated.

Agree with you, it seems its all coming together now. Biggest difference from last season and this season is, Slade had to take over from the mess that was left over from Ole and the relegation from premiership e.g. high wages and too many signings. Additionally, Slade did not have a full complement of his coaching staff and had to rely on Gabbidon and Young.

I am not a big Slade fan, however, he is our manager and we have to get behind him, the morale and the fitness of the players is significantly better this season, than it was last season. The only issue I have with Slade at the moment is the team are not seeing the game out for the full 90 mins, when we are 1-0 up and conceding at stupid times. If we can iron out our defensive frailties, I really do believe we have a team challenging for promotion.

Early days all eyes on Tuesday, I think and ive felt for months this season we could be the lucky horse in this race
and come steaming from nowhere and grab a spot in play offs
and have a fairy tale ending as underdogs
