Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to give praise to City player Tom Adeyemi, who they have on loan at Elland Rd.

Tom Adeyemi performance – Twitter reacts.
Simplicity is often beautiful, brevity even more so.
@raine_lufc Adeyemi was class today #LUFC
Yet more Leeds fans are impressed with what Adeyemi offers the team.
@TomMordey Look solid defensively. Taylor and Cooper excellent today. Adeyemi impressed as holding mid too. Need to create more #LUFC
Again, Leeds fans see the on-loan Cardiff player’s positives.
@crossmagic Here's what I got from listening. Wood class, Phillips class, Adeyemi class, Dallas class, Cooper class. Very strong away performance #lufc
Whilst some might not be gushing in their praise but praise they do.
@libstretton Really do rate Adeyemi .
The appreciation society continues
@lufcstats Pluses: adeyemi, cooper and Phillips!
@LloydNicholls4 really like adeyemi glad philips had a good game
To round up things, Tom Adeyemi seems to have slotted into that ‘holding’ role in front of Leeds United’s central defenders, giving stability and assurance to the back line and creating a triangle that opponents find hard to break down. Adeyemi finished the game with 74% passing, four interceptions of opponent ball and 100% success in headed contests, winning all three headed duels he went up for. In the Cardiff youngster, have Leeds fans found their replacement for Rodolph Austin – I think that they might have done.

He's gone to Leeds, anyone with two legs would probably improve their midfield. Massively disappointed with him in just about every game he played for us last season aside from Colchester in the cup against a lower league team. He wouldn't add anything extra to our squad currently IMHO.

He can win player of the year at Leeds for all I care, but he just didn't cut the mustard here. It's that simple.

I rated him and he has gone to another Championship club like Le Fondre and cost those clubs nothing in transfers.

Annis he didn't do enough for me to be upset about him leaving. Maybe he will have a good season and come back a better player, but for someone that injury prone and inconsistent, get him off the wage bill. A loan fee plus a possible transgfer fee, another 2 million off the debt.

out

Never had a proper chance in my opinion

Hopefully he will have a good season and we can get a decent fee for him at the end of it, can't see him wanting to play here again either way.

There is also the motivation factor, or maybe demotivation factor at Cardiff...
"The rule of a Leader is not to motivate, professional players should already be motivated. However, a poor leader can confuse and demotivate!"

correct me if wrong doesnt loan men just that? hes loaned out until end of season? so let him be player of leeds season can only be good thing for us in that his value will increase!

Ahhhh, now I understand why I got sacked on Football Manager.

I rated him i thought he looked decent defensive mid and plenty of energy. Would work well with Dikgacoi as well as a replacement for Dikgacoi imo

The same can be said about some fans.

I could be wrong but I'm sure I read that they had an option to buy him for 1m at end of season

Whenever I saw him (and remember the tackle he put in that got him injured in his first game?) I thought he was a player that would complement the side, but sadly the manager saw differently; not for the first time!

The real reality is unless Slade is willing to rotate at some point and play with an holder then he isn't going to fit in here.. but then again Dikgacoi is starting for us so it will be interesting to see if we keep 4-4-2 with him in it.

He's exactly whst we need and some idiot loaned him out. It happens to all our quality players, eg Guerra, Dahli, Morrisson etc. If they got class Slade will ship them out. Oh wait a minute, there's another one gone, I hear WBA have bought themselves a goalie!

Maybe he had to go, but to rivals?
Always a bit of a gamble. Imagine he scores to take Leeds 6th in the league, pushing Cardiff to 7th. I'm happy with another year in Championship but I know many disagree.
I actually thought he was a good player.

He didn't have to go, that's the point

There is at least one canditate who should have gone before him. Realky upset about this silly situation

Hopefully he will come back to us a better player, he's young enough and got plenty of potential. I would have preferred if we had kept him though and loaned out O'kefee as I'm not to impressed by him.

So who do you think he should have gone to then ... a Premier League club

- never going to happen , or do you think loaning him to a Division One club would benefit his development? - you do that to younger players but not someone pushing 24, he needs to raise his standard not lower it.
Loaning him to another Championship side was the only viable option, and of course all clubs in the Championship are seen as rivals to us, just the way it is.
Mon Aug 17, 2015 7:06 am
If he comes good and we DONT sell him then I can't see the issue. Leeds won't be up there in the mix anyway.

Spot on add Rudy to that list
Mon Aug 17, 2015 7:22 am
Had niggling injuries most of last season so was never given a run of games to show us how good he is
I thought he looked decent in what little I saw
going out on loan was a good idea as it seemed he would not get in the first 11 unless injuries happened this season to other players
the main thing that cardiff did wrong was agree a fee with Leeds already 1m is nowt he could be worth 5 to 6m come the and of the season

when has he ever shown himself to be a great player ?
Mon Aug 17, 2015 8:50 am
He never really had a propper chance, but at the end of the day we have got so many midfielders someone had to go and not everyone was guna end up happy.

He's never been given a proper chance and has always been hampered in the midfield fornation.hes had to play in. He has shown enough to demonstrate that at his age he can develop into a very good player. Obviously Uwe Rosler and Leeds can see that.

or they saw the opportunity to get someone in when they needed it. Hes no better than what we already have here and has a touch like a rapist.
