VINCENT TAN LABELED THIS GAME THE MALAYSIAN DERBY :o

My View today :ayatollah:

The first away game of 2015-16 season, with City having a good pre-season and a draw at home to Fulham in their first home game and with manager Russell Slade saying he was ready and happy with his present squad, over a 1,000 Cardiff fans travelled to Loftus Road for this live Sky Championship match.

I travelled up,really not knowing what to expect

QPR 2 CARDIFF CITY 2

CITY GET A WELL DESERVED DRAW :ayatollah:

City had 62% possession

Crowd 14,927

Away Support 1,250 Approx :ayatollah:

Team
Moore, Peltier, Malone, Connolly, Morrison, Whittingham, Dikgacoi, Ralls, Pilkington, Mason, Revell.
Subs Wilson,Fabio, Gunnarson,Noone,Ameobi,Doyle and Jones.

City fans were loud from the first seconds of the game.
Within the first minute with no pressure on Connolly, he did a poor head back to Moore to give QPR a corner, thankfully nothing became of the corner .
First 15 mins all QPR possession but to no avail.

As the game went on City came in to it and on the 21st mins Whitts had our first shot which went wide.

After 30 mins no clear cut chances from either side.

City continued to knock hopeful balls forward.

Pilkington shot, keeper safed in the 32nd minute.

Then in the 34th minute Peltier gave away a corner for QPR to have a free header and score, 1-0 QPR.

Then minutes later QPR missed a clear chance across the City goal line.

Last 10mins was all QPR and a nimber of awful finishes saved City.

Half time QPR 1 CCFC 0

City attacked from the off, but the ball went straight across the goal line with no one getting to it.

In the 54th Min Moore had to do a one handed save.

Then in the 55th minute QPR made it 2-0 from a corner.

56th min Kenwyne on for Revell.

62nd min Sean Morrison header scores :ayatollah:

66th min Connolly kicked off the Cardiff goal line, to save City.

Noone then was brought on in replace for Dikgacoi .

City improved vastly and went for it.

Pilkingto went on for Ameobi in 81st min ,

Mason misses a sitter in the 84th min .

90th min Scott Malone scored a cracker 2-2

City fans went wild and so do he .

2-2 final score :ayatollah:

WELL DESERVED DRAW :ayatollah:

My Man of the Match Scott Malone :ayatollah:

Up next a tough trip away to Blackburn Rovers this Tuesday night :ayatollah:

Annis, I watched the game on Sky and thought we deserved at least a point. Poor marking for set pieces probably cost us three points but a very good point away from home.

Thought we were starting to dominate before Peltier conceded the cheap corner for their first goal.

What an equaliser by Scott Malone though!

Can already see the improvement from last season.

Hopefully we can play like that on Tuesday at Blackburn, who are struggling at the moment, and get our first win on the board.

Safe journey back to you all and see some of you next Saturday and at MK Dons :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

A very good performance and the draw was well deserved. A step up from last week and an altogether encouraging and satisfying performance :sladein: :ayatollah:

Annis watched this on sky as was working and have to say we we're bit dodgy in defence but created quite a bit going forward especially in the second half.. With the benefit of camera and multiple viewing their 2nd looked like 2 handballs and where the FA got that ref from is beyond me as thought he was appalling.. Fantastic equaliser by Malone which I'm sure will get all the plaudits but for me Moore's one handed save from a deflected shot made the difference for me and I'm sure you will agree when I see it yourself.

Fantastic point for the 1st away of the season, fantastic support from the boys on an away day as usual and as vocal as ever.

Good point so enjoy the trip back on Carlos Coaches as all was not lost. Tough one again next on the road to Blackburn but one I'm sure will be an entertaining affair

Connolly was shit last week and looked fragile today. Manga will sort that out.

Also kenwyn simply has to play. What aerial threat we had once he was on.

Prob most convincing away performance for long time. To come back from 2 down also fair play

Once again two weeks on the trot we go behind and get a draw out of the game, there is a bit of steel in our team and I like it.Once our strikers get amongst the goals we are going too be a handful :ayatollah:

The Stats suggest we edged it but a good draw either way. Not sure what Noone has to to to start for city, he's obviously upset someone down at the club.

The midfield are all playing well.....

Bar some sloppy defending for their first and a dodgy handball for their second I thought we dominated, obviously as we pushed forward for a equaliser they had one or two decent chances but what a equaliser from Malone and deserved all three imo, great signs of a passing team too which I bet is pissing off all the haters of the manager cos we ain't just dominating possession in every game we are doing it and creating chances, shame we haven't a proper goals scorer with pace we'd be title contenders

Re: MY VIEW " MALAYSIAN DERBY AT LOFTUS ROAD/ENDS "

If we had lost today it would have been a travesty. QPR had a go at us the first 15 minutes, we weathered the storm and controlled the rest of the game. QPR had a lift after each goal of course, but goals change games and we soon took control of the game again.

Sean Morrison at fault for both goals again! Failing to mark Clint Hill at both corners. We would have probably kept a clean sheet and won the game if Manga was playing instead, but it was a very good performance.

I would like the referee to explain his performance today. Mason clearly taken out in the first half, Pilkington incorrectly given a free kick against despite being flattened leading to their corner for the first goal, their hand ball leading to their second, Rob Green hand balling outside the box, it was a totally disgraceful performance, I suppose he felt he had to look after the London club.

But we can build on this performance and challenge this season. :ayatollah:

I thought we was the better team until their goal,I actually thought Peltier was doing well then he played a shit back pass and sloppy marking and they was ahead, they had a better spell after they scored but nothing we couldn't contain, their only threat was a set piece, second half they was playing on the counter mostly big hoof balls down the pitch, had we lost ity would have been a robbery imo,I think the signs are gd and hopefully this will draw a few more ppl back through the gates over the next few weeks

To early to judge, need to start winning games tho.
Point at QPR is a good result tho.

After these two games I'm feeling we can improve tho and stay up.
