UPDATED : Adam Le Fondre is undergoing a medical at Wolves ahead of a season long loan.

City have accepted the bid and David Marshall has told Cardiff City that he will go to play in the Premier League.

I don't blame the keeper, he has given the club good service and once he was told the club were accepting the bid then he is right to go and play at the highest level.

Adam Le Fondre's move to Blackburn is in jeopardy as Burnley have now expressed an interest in signing him.

Le Fondre will prob be the first to go in next 48hrs

I expect both players to be gone in the next couple of days.

Gutted David Marshall leaving, fantastic goalkeeper and some of those saves he made were breathtaking. And if Guerra goes too thats about 25 goals into the sunset.

Sorry to see Marshall go, but I think we're getting a decent price for him and we know at least some of the money will be re-invested in the team. He's been a great player for the club over the years. Good luck to him at West Brom.

With Adam Le Fondre, it just didn't work out for him at City for whatever reason. I'm sure he'll go somewhere else now and score goals. He posted this on Twitter this morning:

Blackburn could still loan him whilst under an embargo I believe, also if they sell Rhodes then they can come out of the embargo and buy players again.

Slade didn't rate him but to be fair, he was hardly doing brilliantly for us under Ole. Personally I think he's a poacher who offers little else and in today's game you need to offer more (link up play etc). My opinion only of course

Definitely sorry to see Marshall go but I don't think anyone can blame him and he deserves it.

Hola Carl, was really hoping for a permanent move for ALF.

Sad to see Marshall go but can see why, he deserves another go in Premier league, has been great for this club and always conducted himself in a good way.
As for Alf, he has been a big disapointment, can't see how people can say he was never given a fair chance by SLade, he played in first few games when SLade took over, but his body language on pitch said he didn't want to be here. So not sad to see him go.prob to WOlves by sounds of it,

How do you work that out?

Surely on a loan deal such as this one the club who are borrowing the player would be paying his wages in full for the loan period?

Sad to see Marshall go and i think he is taking a big risk he could find himself as second choice
when Ben Foster is fit.

The way I calculate it is if we sell him we will get a fee up to One Million, if we loan him we get nothing. Either way we pay no wages. Unless Wolves are paying the full wage which looks unlikely.

Marshall has shown far more loyalty to the club than many do in football these days. Good luck to him. I just hope he gets first team starts regularly. Wasted as a backup. He needs to go to a PL club in lower half imo.

AlF is a lost cause now I think. He will go and again I wish him all the best.

In those two players alone, the loss will be felt. I know that AlF hasn't been on top form but why? Something's not right.

Le Fondre has been a right pain in the arse for this club. He was a regular starter under Ole and Slade and didn't do the business and has now come out with all this family stuff. He could have secured a move away by lowering his wage demands but he held the club to ransom as far as I can see while constantly moaning about how he hasn't been given a chance. Pathetic and symbolises everything that is wrong with modern day football - he had more than enough chances to prove himself here and didn't take them. Good riddance and now hopefully we'll see the end of his self indulgent Social media campaign about how terrible life in Cardiff is.

Spot on its a laughable statement, Le Fondre was given every chance and was mediocre at best. Jones nor Macheda were s ton better but their goals to minutes ratio dwarf Le Fondre.
