I think Slade will do really well with the current team if he can get a team full of freebies to punch above their weight to a league 1 play off final then he sure can with our quality squad without having the hassle of of players unfitness and cutbacks at first now that i think Slade has got pre season and is now looking really promising and he has lifted the dressing room and the players look happy under him and seem to believe into what Slade is doing i think we are in for a successful season.

None its just that there needs to be some positivity on this board involving our Manager who we need to get behind of and to be given a chance because being negative is not going to help the manager or team on the pitch.

The problem is ,he is not a proper manager, he is a pe teacher who is out of his depth

He didn't bluff into any job and Orient were being taken over which upset things but what Slade achieve with Orient the previous season he wasn't pretending then was he.

There is something about him that makes me like him and feel proud to support City, which is what matter to me. His passion is there to see and his signings have been good so far. We are going forwards. Back him City fans!

He has got that wise feeling about him like a Shankly sort of manager even Barry Hearn said that Slade has got a "Shanklyism" with is team talks and his signings have been good so far.

If he was as good as you say why didn't he get snapped up by some other championship club then instead of us getting lumbered with him ?Division 3 manager at best! and thats where we will be if he stays!! i cant believe all the experienced managers that were available at the time we ended up with him! shocking!! no ambition at all , I bet slade couldn't believe his luck when he got offered the job! oh well we will all have to suffer i suppose

Because higher clubs have the tendency to look abroad for managers or other managers in the same division and don't think of mangers in lower leagues no matter how well they are doing there is not really a ladder to climb for managers these days and also Slade was linked with West Brom last season.
