Players unwilling to move on to smaller contarcts. It seems no clubs are willing to take on certain players' wages or pay us a fee. It will take a few more transfer windows yet to repair the damage caused by reckless spending

This conservative spending policy is not coming from Slade. It's Tan. What manager would turn down money to spend on players? I'm no fan of Slade, but he's not the money man.

The spending had to be cut back, let's face it. The debt was mounting at a rate of knots and Tan decided to cut his losses. To be honest, I can't blame him!

Steady, sensible building needs to be the order of the day in my opinion. Get things right off the field and start to benefit on the field.

I think Slade should tell the players he doesn't want,that they will not be training with the squad,so if those players have got any sense they will take a reduction in wages to go to another club. Surely then players will move on otherwise they are stuck doing nothing until January at least and then they will be so unfit that nobody will want them. Surely a professional footballer would not want to be out of action for that length of time?
