What I meant was that Slades movement in the transfer market so far reminds me of Wenger where he is reluctant to sign many players but will come up with a couple of quality signings "quality over quantity".

However it wasn't Slade who did the Ameobi deal and the fact is that he joined us instead of Wolves because the club guaranteed a regular start. Now Slade is being given huge praise for bringing in another unknown.
