Don't agree with you here. Campbell's strike rate when we won the league was excellent if I remember rightly.

I can't see another prem club wanting him,so I think it's championship football for him next season.He wont get a kick for palace so you never know.He will have to take a pay cut though.He has alway's said he was very happy playing for us,and he had a good rapport with the fans.

You must be watching a different player. Look at his scoring record for us in the Championship. When we in the Premiership he played most of the time as a lone striker!

He scored some important goals in a side that was never set up to score many.Not a major gamble if we brought him back.

Wouldn't hurt Russel Slade to put a few feelers out about the likelihood of him being available and if so put in a bid for him. I think he would be a welcome addition to the squad.

Definitely - his work rate was second to none when he was with us. Always stood out for me. Some class about him as well.

loved him here in the promotion winning season, was superb... then i remember him in the prem with us, was a complete shower of shit... everyone goes on about his work rate, that dont win games, yeah he worked and ran and ran and ran and ran some more but couldnt finish for shit, was so frustrating to watch
