As well as Slade going about his business in the transfer market, Slade has been told, I want players out now, ASAP and Tan is expecting at least £15 mill from sales.
My opinion is that Slade will not be allowed to spend no more than £5mill for next season

Obvious SLade needs to get rid of players, that is a given, as for the amount spent on transfers, well that depends on what player is available at value for money... No more wasting money is needed.

So where did the £15 million mark come from? Because if he told anyone in the news world it would be in papers not on a message board. Also why are we rejecting bids if we 'need' to clear £15m?

I was actually told at the end of last season £15-£20mill Tan was hoping for, but I personally thought Tan was way out at £20 mill.

No offence but that doesn't add up. If Tan wants his money back the best way (in fact the only way) is to get us back to the Premier League which means building a very good team. Asset stripping to recover some of his money will lead to relegation and a massive drop in the value of the club and huge losses if he was to sell. I can understand that Tan needs to get the wage bill under control after Ole wildly overspent on players he didn't play and others who were not worth the transfer fees or wages but once the high earners have gone I'm sure Tan will do whatever it takes to make us successful. Not because he likes us but because he wants his money back. And for the record I'm not a Tan supporter.

Replacing the lost ST sales with revenue from the sale of players is pretty much the easiest option, so as far as I'm concerned each and every player at the club is for sale, Marshall and Manga will probably be the first to ship out.
The transfer market hasn't really got going this summer yet, maybe Derby are the exception in the Championship, but I can see players coming and going right up until the window closes.
Problem with this of course is we will not have a settled squad through pre-season and how much of an effect will that have once the season gets under way.

Annis,
I think he'll be struggling to get £15million!
The only way to do that is to sell the majority of the team which Slade picked almost every game last season (Marshall, Gunnarrson, Manga, Noone, Whitts, Mason etc)
Apart from those he'd be lucky to get £15million for the rest of the squad put together!
