Kevin, your right some fans belittled Dave for his strong and out spoken views, a pity they they could not now admit they were wrong and out of order.
I still cant believe some even still think it was all worth while![]()

Yes a certain individual tried to run me out and failed.
The fight from within kept the blue alive.

What happened to Dave that you talk about? I think he got a lot of credit for having the courage of his convictions to actually stop going.

Neil, Dave was virtually threatened and intimidated, that hurt Dave big time and that was it for him.
I personally saw this at 2 meetings.

I Think Tan greatly underestimated the depth of feeling, emotion, loyalty, culture, history of our fan base and listened to people who were giving him wrong advice or he knew the consequence but ploughed on regardless ?
I think he realized his mistake quite early on but his pride and cultural stubbornness got in the way of rational business thinking.

In controversial situations like this I put myself in the adversaries shoes to try and get the others sides picture.
All I see are the directors looking after their own interests. If anyone lied to Tan it was them.
