'Womens'and 'football' really shouldn't be in the same phrase.

Unless of course followed by 'is utter shite'.

Just my opinion.

Is this the BBC trying to be all things to all men? Oops and woman ?

A summer of not watching the BBC then and yet they will still demand the licence fee

Nothing like a bit of sexism to read at lunch time!

Glad there's football on to be honest! Granted, the standard in the women's game isn't as high as the men's game but it's improving every year and very entertaining. Shame the Welsh women are too shit to qualify!

I'll probably watch some, at some point.

A bit annoying the Copa America is on subscription only Premier Sports.

Yes they dont dive around pretending to be injured, they dont spit at each other, or bite each other and they dont try and get each other sent off.

This thread is starting to show how many people still live in a bubble , women's football has moved on massively in recent years and I would bet most championship sides would struggle to beat the top teams in this tournament .

Blatter made a good point about women wearing shorter shorts. He was right.

Women's tennis is very popular in terms of TV views due to the attire (lack of) :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

No chance lol you could put the best 11 female footballers against the worst 11 players from the championship, and the female team would get thumped. Simple fact is, female footballers haven't got the strength to compete against male footballers. They might have have decent skill, but they haven't got the speed or strength to match a championship side. Not even close

Did that stupid bint who set women back 15 years by asking for crèches for the kids get her wish?

It's parks level football. If they want the same money play in the man's games.

Re: Women's World Cup starts this weekend on bbc

Thu Jun 04, 2015 10:40 pm

They arent asking for the same money and they certainly dont think it is the same standard.

It may be park level football but weve witnessed so complete shit in the past year and we still willingly to games. Why? Because it is cardiff.

There are how many women on this planet?. Even if a tint minority followed it theyve got a good audience.

I prefer womens cricket.

why aren't City scouting the women's WC if they are Championship standard quality? City's scouting network not competent enough to find these hidden gems?

Any excuse to have-a-go at Slade & Tan, you'll find an angle
