I thought he shone last season and was in my top 3 for the season

I like him, always rated him and as I've said about others a full season on loan somewhere can really help development (john, harris should be sent out) and that's been the case with Ralls.
For me the team needs to move on so personally id move Whitts on ans give ralls the time I'm the centre.
Just the type of player we should be using and developing.

I personally rate him very highly and wouldn't want to see him go. He's good on the ball, can pass well and knows how to shoot. And it's nice having some youngsters in the squad like him, Kennedy and Harris. Hopefully next season we could also see more of Deji Oshilaja and David Tutonda also.

Luke, yes loaning Joe out did seem to help him a lot. I would not like to lose him,I now believe Joe is now one of the players that is the heart of our team if we are to progress

I would hope that this season we start to see a side being shaped around Joe Ralls, he is a quality player that has been nurtured well, now is the time to let him shine.

The guy has not impressed me that much but he has not failed in anyway. Personally I think its time he was made a regular starter now to prove himself but I'm 50/50 if he will make an impact.

Yes that is my opinion.

Have to keep him unless he really pushed for a move, probably the midfielder I'd most want to keep. Can tackle, gets around the pitch, can beat a man and got a decent shot and pass on him and only going to get better

Hugely promising player...no where near the finished article yet..but hopefully will turn into a real decent player...can't believe Whitts and Gunner were picked ahead of him for virtually all last season

Great to hear Tim, I agree we cant just some sell Ralls for even a couple of £million

How is that Slade's fault? Ralls played a fair bit last season, not bad for someone who played ina team that finished last in the Championship, playing for a recently relegated PL side. I do agree that it should be a 5 man midfield with those 3 in the centre though

I know a number of clubs have been monitoring Ralls,Stoke watched him more than twice.

Like some have said on here and in other posts, the team must be built around him and he should be playing every game for us next season. If he doesn't then I really can't see him making it here and it is in no way a reflection on him. It's the managers we have had that have held him back. He is a cracking player and I am so thankful to Yeovil for having him on a season long loan the season before last. As he really has turned into a quality little player who has a bit of everything in his locker. Next season he should start every game, barring injuries or suspensions and for me I honestly think that he should be picked ahead of Peter Whittingham next season. He is not as good as Whittingham - technically - at the moment but I truly believe he will go on to be better than Whitts. Another reason why Joe should be picked before Peter is because Joe is consistent, whereas Whittingham is far too inconsistent. I am definitely looking forward to seeing Joe Ralls have a much bigger part to play for us next season. I think it will be at the expense of Whittingham, cause in my opinion there is no way that they can both play together in our central midfield next season, especially if we play a 4-4-2 with Ralls and Whittingham being the two in the middle of the park. We would get battered and overrun all the time. We would need a defensive midfielder as one of the two central midfielders, if we were to concede less goals and stamp a bit of authority on the games. We know that Ralls would try his ass off and get stuck in but Whittingham is not that type of player, so that pairing should not be our central midfield at any time next season, even when if we play a lower league team, in any of the Cup games. Having said that I don't think we will play with just two players in central midfield next season. I think we will play with three in the middle with either, Dickagcoi or a new signing as our defensive midfielder. Then hopefully we will have Joe Ralls as the second central midfielder, who will be our creative spark, chipping in with assists and hopefully a few goals. Then finally the third person that will be our high energy, box to box, etc, central midfielder should be either Tom Adeyemi or a new signing, who can be the person to push on and make the runs beyond the strikers and chip in with a fair few goals.
