' Latest on Craig Noone '

Ive been told that City will let Craig Noone go this Summer if a fair bid does come in for him(over a million).

I believe Noone knows this as well.

We could of got £2 million not so long ago.

Nobody would have paid £2m based on last season. I wouldn't pay £1m for him now either. Totally ineffective winger.

I bet he will have a brilliant season at a new club. A good player lost under a poor manager.

Agree with 2Blue, with a good manager he'd be flying again.. That's one thing you can give Ole credit for, no one played some of his best games under him

Norwich pulled out of the £2m deal when it became clear that they were getting Dorrens.

As far as I know no one else put a bid in

Can't blame the manager ffs
It's noone himself that's been poor
Slade gave him every chance by sticking with him
We must be the only fans who blame the manager when a player plays poorly ffs get a grip :sladein: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Re: ' Latest on Craig Noone '

Can you tell me a game except that one man City game when he owned it?

Better as one of the two wide forwards in a 433 (451). Got the skill to do a single player but inevitably takes the wrong option because he can't cross with any accuracy. Kennedy hasn't got the same pace, but has a trick or two in the locker which is so good to see, almost a throwback, but can he pick a cross.

Needs to go, doubt he is worth a million. As with any commodity, he is only worth what someone is willing to pay.

I'd happily sell him.. he's a pisshead out all the time. Was in a club Monday stripped down completely naked running around the club.

Exactly lol had to sign in when I seen this
I don't like slade as much as like most of us
But i can't blame him for noone
He's to predictable
Lost something since his injury
Not the player he was 2years ago

It's not just noone though Is it. Pretty much all out attacking players have struggled. Look at le fondre since he left. It's the way we set up and that's down to the manager.

What about the new Everton lads they've been great !
They fit his. System hence why he got them

Kennedy has been good but he gets dropped all the time. Won't be long before his confidence is shot.

Re: ' Latest on Craig Noone '

Sat May 09, 2015 8:44 am

Sooner the better, he has pace and our team is seriously lacking in that but he has about zero other qualities. A bit similar to Mutch, a few good games in the year we got promoted, few good games in the Prem. Our fans think he's a world beater. Really quite average.

Re: ' Latest on Craig Noone '

Sat May 09, 2015 8:46 am

1 goal in 10 is not the stats of an attacking player.

Don Cowie was a 1 every 13 games but was defensively far superior. Hence why Malky never liked to play with out and out wingers. A good sub if you are losing and need to go gun ho

It's all about confidence. When you got your own supporters moaning and groaning and booing every game, what is gonna lift you.
A lot of these players have had it off the supporters for two seasons now. Remember Whitts getting booed and jeered as he was substituted at home last season?
It's the same reason our away form is far better than our home form.

Both the team and manager will need our support early next season, some of it blind loyalty, or face another season like this one.
Part of me feels we'll be fine with support as the early games will have smaller more supportive crowds.

Those supporters have gone now. ll clubs lose those types of fans when things are not going right.

I was at Bolton away were we played awful. About 250 of us there most old school. No booing what so ever.

It's a two-way thing. If the players put in the effort or show application to the game plan, supporters will back them. No way in the world have the players been giving anywhere close to 100% - hence the fans response. There are enough people blowing smoke up the players arses, they need bringing back into the real world from time to time. Fans don't want to criticise just for the sake of it, but they don't want to be taken for mugs either.

Always gives 100%.With the right coaching he could be a crucial player for us. Will he improve under Slade though?

He is 27 not 17.....This is what he is. He may even be on the down grade. If Slade stays he has to go, he is not a 442 player.

I agree they have life's too but he's literally on the piss every weekend surely as a footballer every weekend is a bit much.?

And if you go out at least try and control yourself

What with Jones, noone, le fondre and guerra to name a few, we have a great team almost, none of whom can be arsed with us but will no doubt be blinding for their next clubs.....

Craig has bags of ability he just lets himself down by sometimes taking one touch to many or not doing the simple stuff. But he is miles from the player we first signed. I'm still not sure if he'd be a loss or not to be honest.
