" VINCENT TAN DEADLY SERIOUS? "

Despite the doom and gloom around Cardiff City there is also belief, passion and ambition within.

By Terry Phillips

Sunday 26th April 2015

Chairman Mehmet Dalman and chief executive Ken Choo both made it clear in one-to-one chats I had with them before the match against Blackpool that owner Vincent Tan is ‘deadly serious’ about a Cardiff return to the Premier League.

They hinted at big moves in the summer which will underline exactly how serious the Bluebirds are.

Neither Dalman or Choo would go into specifics, but they made it clear Tan isn’t a man who wants his club staying in the second tier for long.

The two men, along with Russell Slade and the entire backroom staff, were among more than 200 guests at the Cardiff City Supporters Club awards night.

There was a positive vibe around the room all evening - and it was made clear Tan is not a man to accept second best. Plans are in place and Slade’s men will have the backing to make their move for a promotion push next season.

A win against Blackpool proves nothing, but it’s clear there is a will and a determination to put this season behind the club and move forward.

The only way tan will get his money back or a large part of it, is if we are in the premier league it doesn't take a lot of money to get out of this division just the right manager to spend it

Tan could buy Ronaldo but with Slade in charge, and with his constant meddling, we still wouldn't get promoted.

I think he will have a go at it wez but it needs dalman and choo to convince him he has the wrong manager.

Like I say its my strong, strong opinion/belief and what certain people tell me, who I believe in.

Tan would of gone a long time ago,if he could find a buyer, but there is not one out there until he reduces the debt he has created dramatically.

You are right it feels to me that some people on here want anything Tan does to fail even at our expense and before anyone says I'm a tan lover that I'm not, you watch Slade goes a new manager comes in and he wont be the right man in some people's eyes and only because Tan put him there and the circus starts all over again but I suppose that's what opinions are about :bluescarf:

Re: " VINCENT TAN DEADLY SERIOUS? "

Nobody knows wat Tan will do,he doesn't even spend a great deal of time over here.
The club is a toy for him to play with until he becomes bored and moves on to something else.If he leaves a complete mess behind when he does go or loses some of his millions I doubt he will lose any sleep over it.

Wez, as ive said many times, no one will buy the club till the debt is reduced dramatically. We have sold sold, sold, sold since I have said it, why not be honest for once

I said that when we went back to blue what would the next crusade be now we know slade is the target if he goes someone else will be the object of derision in last 10 years fans have seen more success than many smaller clubs will see in lifetime but every year there has been campaign to oust someone or other.its a sad reflection of the fans of this club imo :old: :bluebird:

Do you honestly think I would tell you names

Ok take away who told me, then I will repeat,I strongly believe and know Tan wants to sell ASAP, thats up to you if you want to believe me or not, I'm not bothered if you do or not.

In any business,it takes a long time to sell them nowadays, especially if they are losing money and the debts are way beyond belief.

But I will just say it again, if Tan could sell at a fair price for him, without losing to much he would be gone tomorrow.

Well we wont be going under Tan again in my opinion unless he stays away from the football side and sacks Slade now.

Must admit to chuckling at this to be honest. I am also deadly serious as to break the Land speed record some time this year, as I have just purchased a Reliant Robin the other week. This proves how deadly serious I am.
But in all seriousness I don't believe a word that comes out of the Club. Choo Dalman and Slade are all mouth pieces for our :ayatollah: Vinny.
