CITY FANS TURN ON SLADE AS A POOR BOLTON SIDE WIN THEIR FIRST AWAY GAME IN 8 AT CARDIFF TODAY.

Sections of City fans called for Slade to be sacked,many even sang,your getting sacked in the morning.

By the end of the game,the stadium was virtually empty,many of those that were left booed the team off.

City for periods did dominate,but in my opinion with 3rd division players like Revell and Doyle upfront and a manager like Slade in charge,City will struggle next season.
Today we were playing one of the poorest away teams in the Championship.

Crowd 20,219
Including approx 500 Bolton

Marshall, Fabio, Malone, Ecuele Manga, Morrison, Gunnarsson, Whittingham, Ralls, Noone, Doyle, Revell.

Subs: Moore, Peltier, Adeyemi, O’Keefe, Kennedy, Harris, Mason.

City went in to this game on a high after improving on their home and away record and were now undefeated in their last 4 League games.
Whilst Bolton have been on a poor run recently and had only won 1 game from their last 6 League games and had not won away for 8 games.

City started the game well and attacked from the off

Whitingham and Noone both had shots,Cardiff looking the better team.
Ralls was having a good game.
Bolton had to clear of the line .
As the first half came to a lose Bolton got in to the game.

City should of taken advantage of a very poor Bolton team.

Half-time
0-0

Second half City continued to attack,but with no real threat.
Bolton then broke away to score and make it 1 nil in the 54th minute.

A few minutes later City's team just got torn open again and bang 2 nil Bolton 57th min.

City then tried to attack,but Bolton stood strong.

66th minute Kennedy came on for Gunnarson.

Then Bolton tore us apart again and it was 3 nil Bolton.

Some City fans walked straight out,others sang Slade out.

Bolton fans sang can we play you every week.

Harris came on for Doyle.

By the end of the game,City were chasing shadows.

we did, but I'm still of the opinion that Tan did this to have us as pay back, he loses nothing, he lowers the paybill, he keeps the club in the championship, he pisses off the supporters.

He's used to everyone bowing down to him, this is just his pay back as far as I am concerned.

Oh well, saves me a fortune next year!

Bolton were bad what does that make City?

According to some fans on this forum, Slade has made steady progress here. Four wins in last seventeen games is crap as far as I am concerned, and no point in telling me a lot of the other games were draws, if we drew every game next season and finished undefeated, we would probably go down with only 46 points.
I am sure we will get the usual Slade fans on here soon blaming the ref, or bad luck for today, but these are the same fans who reckoned we were nailed on certainties for promotion this year, Doyle was going to be our saviour, and Slade will rebuild and take us up next season.
He is here because he has a lot of experience with lower league players, and that's where most of our recruits will come from for next seasons campaign. Success next season will be avoiding relegation, and anyone who thinks this club will be challenging for promotion next season needs a reality check. Plenty of us said at the start of this season that we were a mid table side, and we may not even be that good next time around.

I would guess something like 'Bolton are a hard team to beat, City showed some positive signs of progress oh and yea i am sure there will be a mention of transition somewhere in there'.

I spoke to 3 Leyton Orient players today at my local gym, where they train occasionally, not one had a good word to say about him. All thought he was out of his depth at League 1 level. None of them had any respect for him, as he had never played the game. They are shocked that he was appointed at a big club like Cardiff

Looks like the players are already on their holidays. End of season can't come quick enough, the squad needs a massive overhaul in the summer, I really hope Russell Slade is the first to go and we get someone in that knows what he is doing and Vincent tan backs him., fuking shocking today, disgusting performance, like most of the season

That was by far the worst 2nd half of football ever, they didn't have a clue, the forward line we had was awful, I cannot understand how Craig noone stayed on the pitch for the amount of time he was, totally useless today

If he was out of his depth in league 1 how come he has won manager of the year twice at two different clubs on tight budgets? and got Leyton orient to a penalty kick away from the championship but he is out of his depth in the championship though.

The players are just as much to blame. No fight, no guts. Absolutely shocking. They pick up 10s of thousands a week, yet can't be bothered to put in 90minutes of effort. To busy thinking about thier las Vegas holidays no doubt

Steve,I have said many results have improved,which they had,but the football continued to be dire,plus I've said I 100% did not want Slade here next season.
