" TAN/SLADE DONT EXPECT FANS TO PAY HIGH PRICES & SEASON TICKETS "

Vincent Tan/ Russell Slade Keep saying its business decision, after business decision, getting rid of our best players.
So dont expect fans to buy season tickets or pay £32 plus admission.

Russell Slade has been put in charge to carry out all Tans demands and has known from day one, what Tan wants,So no one should feel sorry for Slade as only a manager with No ambition in " my opinion " would take on a club that only intends to get rid of all its best players and have No Ambition to go back up.

You cant have it both ways?

City Fans are still fuming over the Rebrand and the Club not caring, now for the last 5 months they have continually seen many of our best players go.

I can sometimes understand why Season Ticket Sales are at an all time low in the last 10 years.

Also Our stadium is now, more than half empty every game.

I dont want to write this negative post, but if I am wrong, why are fans not turning up week in week out and Season ticket sales are a disaster?

That's their choice though.
Prices are cut for next year so costs need to be cut as we'll especially with so many fans abandoning the club.
CCFC have to comply with FFS same as everyone else.

Slade is here to cut costs and is doing a good job of it.
Millions off the wage bill and still competitive.

VT is getting a real lesson here on what happens when you manage a business as badly as he has since he took over the reigns at our club. If the figures for ST sales are correct then in a little over 12 months the club has "LOST" over 20,000 ST holders and that has taken a massive amount of "Cash" out of the business and at time it really needs it.

In my opinion this goes beyond things like the effect of relegation or even the sale of our "Top" players or the rebrand or even the boring unimaginative football since RS arrived. I think so many people are just fed up with the way the club is being managed, by the way we as fans we are treated by the gestapo stewards within the ground and ALL of the off field nonsense which has become the norm under VT.

I really feel sorry for the people who work for the club because it must be a hell hole to work within. But two people I'm not sorry for are VT and RS, in fact someone WILL be held responsible for the loss of these ST sales and for me RS will not survive this.

Hasta La Vista Russ.

From FB

Peter Edwards
I renewed for myself, daughter, and father today. Dad is in his 70th season, so its in the blood, but what you say is absolutely right Annis. The strategy at the start of this season, was to get back to the premier league, its been a total shambles, and i fear for next season also.

Gary, Once again your spot on in what you say.
Tan still has No idea on how to run a football club, nearly 5 years later and 6 CEO's :o

Re: " VINCENT TAN/RUSSELL SLADE "

Thu Mar 26, 2015 7:26 pm

Why is there no ambition is letting a player who is leaving next year go now rather than then?

Unless Annis you're advocating keeping Jones beyond his current deal

Of the players we've lost how many are we truly gutted about? Dæhli? Le Fondre? Is that it?

As cost cutting goes it's been pretty good and many Slade has brought in seem to have be at a decent level (how much was Kennedy?). Sure we'll lose Manga but we all know he deserves to be playing at a top level and I'd rather have a solid season making the club financially sound than have a transfer embargo next Jan.

The club are doing what they need to and what we've been asking them to do.
Balance the books and get rid of the big earners who, let's face it have failed us.
Next year we'll see some fresh faces and some hungry players and youngsters given a chance.

I'd rather Jones go now than have to sell Fabio, Ralls, Kennedy etc.. in the summer

Re: " VINCENT TAN/RUSSELL SLADE "

Thu Mar 26, 2015 7:32 pm

Thing is we need to cut out cloth accordingly.

Loaning out Connolly and Jones could be saving us around a million pound, maybe more. Money that could go towards squad restructure next season and let's be honest we don't need either player for the remaining few games.
For once I think things are being done correctly.

Correct Tim, Slade is doing what he knew he had to do,exactly what Ive just stated.

Is your coach full every week? How many away games has it run this season?

Plus be honest, have many City fans said to you they are fed up and not renewing?

I would rather Fabio and Manga :thumbright: :thumbright: But they are up for sale as well

Annis I think it's clear we overspend in the summer and some players like gabbidon were mistakes but since then we have made good cut back and the loans out could easily save us 1m and connolly and Jones are not needed at this point in the season for us.

You have said about the debt and Jones wages before, the clubs are rightly making the cut backs as our season is finished.

I agree about Kenwyne Jones, But in the last 6 months, you yourself personally have continually slated Slades football and to be fair your right,so how can the club expect fans to pay to watch them, with whats going on?

The loss of revenue from ST sales must be a massive worry for the club and whilst I completely accept the "Business" decision explanation for the loan of Connolly and Jones it does make you wonder how short of "CASH" the club is. With only 3 home games left this season and let's face it given the opposition and relative positions of each club the attendances will be nothing to write home about, I'm beginning to wonder how long it will be before the club starts holding back payments and more importantly, with the loss of £m's in revenue, should the club be trading at all.

Does make you wonder if in fact the club has come full circle since VT took control, unable to pay it's bills but now another £100m in debt.

As much as I want to be I the Prem with good players we have to be realistic,we are now cutting our cloth accordingly.A few seasons in this league all be it mid-table wont hurt us.
As for the fans either they want to come or they don't,we are what we are.

KJ has taken some terrible stick on here rightly or wrongly, now he's gone on loan (and I don't think he'll wear a city shirt again) people are moaning.

By the way when we sell Manga at the end of the season, whats the difference between him and when we sold Caulker?

Tim,

Your right, the choice is theirs, but do we really want to have a near empty stadium next season? ?

The stadium will be half empty because the people not renewing and the people not turning up for games are, in the main, NOT Cardiff City supporters. They are football supporters who have an interest in Cardiff City, particularly when we are doing well such as getting to Wembley four times and gaining promotion to the Premier League. The support our Club gets from the City of Cardiff itself is pitiful and pathetic. A City of some 320,000 people should be able to provide 25,000 fans EVERY game without the need for support from the Valleys and other areas outside of Cardiff. Instead of supporting THEIR local football club they spend their time down the pub supporting the Mancs and the Scousers. You support YOUR football club because they are YOUR football club....not just when they are doing well only to piss off during the bad times.
