In all honestly, I completely understand this decision. Tan wants to make this club self sustainable and by paying ridiculous wages that won't happen. Rebuilding has started and it's going to take a while but it's not the end of the world. It's horrible for fans to go through but it's purely a business decision to help the long term future of our club!

If he wants the club sustainable why O why didn't he put someone in charge of employing a Man that knew what he was doing when he employed a Manager in the first place.
Mistake after Mistake and now we got a Manager that don't have a clue, and is forced into selling off our best players to make up for there mistakes.

I reckon thats why he give us our colours back ,cos he knew he was going to do this a while back. He knew we wouldn't stand for colours gone, and our best players gone so thats why he give us our colours back.

Said before anyone with a bit of value will be sold. Tan trying to cut his losses, the ambition for next season will be no more than championship survival with a mixture of cheap buys and free transfers.

Who said he wants a sustainable club.I just think he wants as much of his cash back as he can get so then he can toss us away.

We didn't accept the rebrand, that was the perverse payment Tan wanted from the fans, now it must end.

Im a huge Manga fan but can't see us getting 7m for him, would be delighted if we did.
More likely around the 4m mark. I'd bet he is a high earner as well.

Totally agree, don't want to see them go but never been one to be that bothered when players leave. You just welcome in the next and you get on with it. Financially better off

I agree that the club should get their finances in order but are the cuts so drastic that we have no chance of getting anywhere near the top 6.

I would have preferred if the club had told fans honestly up from that all the best players are being off loaded rather than send a season ticket renewal letter out saying " OUR DESIRE TO RETURN TO THE TOP FLIGHT REMAINS" It is quite clear from the January window what the club are doing.

Is that in 2025? 2030? It certainly won't be in the near future if you sell ALL of your best players. Surely you need a happy balance and need to keep some quality.

The problem is the club may not re invest. The club paid 750k for Doyle other than a small fee for Ravell most of the others were on a free.

I agree but I don't share the view that if you sell then your chances of getting in the prem are gone. Burnley, Bournemouth, Blackpool none of them spent big but they had a decent team. It does diminish your chances no doubt, but always life after they go.

Until Manga returned from the African World Cup our defence was awful.

Yes you can get promoted without a squad full of class players but you do need a few to go with the battlers. Sell Manga and once again it will be a step backwards in my opinion.
