I'd be glad if those points meant anything for our season but they just don't.
Most of us are clutching at straws.

When I read skewett I knew what would follow!! Piss poor? Did you go? I think you been watching to much match of the day. Controlled first half without creating. Second half didn't give them a sniff and created scored and won. Your expectations are ridiculous

I go to every game home and away and this season I've also been to all the Cup games, so for one thing I can be sure you haven't watched more games than me this season. I don't expect Real Madrid but I do expect value for money. If my expectations are too high then you must be satisfied pretty easily.
I suppose you're going to say Slade hasn't had a fair crack yet. I think he's had about 5 months and if you look carefully I'm not the only one disagreeing with you on here. In fact I'm not even the only one saying they practically fell asleep in that first half today.
Why should we settle for mediocrity.

Yep course it is and only see David's when we are struggling! Am almost done with the forum which is shame as have enjoyed it. All for different opinions but most haven't a scooby doo

How can you say we were awful in the first half? We stroked the ball around nicely but didn't have the cutting edge to create in the final third. Slade addressed this by bringing Kennedy on at half time, but Ralls had a good game and I thought it made sense to have Ralls' and Gunnarsson's energy in the midfield to start off, as this allowed Whittingham and Noone to have a bit more freedom. Once we were on top and realised how ordinary Birmingham were, Slade made the correct decision to bring Kennedy on to open them up and then Adeyemi came on to tighten it up later on, which was another good decision. I couldn't fault Slade today and it was a good performance.

Wasn't Gunnarrson injured? I'm sure that's the only reason Kennedy came on at half time. If I'm wrong then I will admit that it was a good tactical decision by Slade but if Gunnarrson was injured then it was forced on Slade and without the injury I really doubt that we would have seen Kennedy on at half time.
